  1. Crispy, Don't turn back! This will be the smartest thing you have ever done. I was banded 6 weeks ago today and I have lost 46 pounds. I just had my first fill today as I was eating too much. The process is a little tough psychologically, but not physically. I haven't had any issues with vomiting or nausea. John
  2. I'm 3 1/2 weeks post-op and I was cotton mouthed for about 3 weeks post-op. The Doctor told me it was because I was dehydrated, even though I was drinking about 2-3 times the amount of water that was prescribed. My tongue was white and crusty and I had a coating on my teeth no matter how many times I brushed them. I just persisted with the liquids and it finally got better. John
  3. Lisa, I'm 3 weeks post-op and I've always been a belly sleeper. After about 10 days, I could sleep on my stomach without any pain at all. Good luck! John
  4. I had lap band surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and I already know it will be a life changing experience. I have found the process much more difficult psychologically than physically, but it's getting easier every day.
  5. Nicole, I live in Greeley and has lap band surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago. I'm sure there are many good bariatric surgeons in Denver, but Dr. Johnell in Greeley and his staff are wonderful. I encourage you to go forward with it. Between the pre-weight they make you lose and post-surgery, I have lost 40 pounds.
