  3. I really am going to stop complaining . Three days out from my surgery I take one exlax then just liquids till the night before my surgery. Your doing great!!
  4. Do you have a liquid diet to follow a few days before your surgery. There are so many different pre op diets. I guess it depends on each individual person. Good luck!!
  5. Great job! Keep up the good work.. I'm excited to keep up with a all the Feb. Surgery group. We need all the support we can get.
  6. Wow! So sorry... I feel bad complaining about my three day liquid diet. Keep up the good work. My BMI is high (51.6) and I would like to bring it down below 49.. I know I have lost some weight but I think you have inspired me.. I really need to lose about 15 more pounds before my surgery. Good luck. I would love to hear what your drinking..
  7. My surgery date is Feb. 18th. I can't believe I'm a month away? Sadly I already started a protein diet. I was just doing strictly protein but now I've started the 2 shakes plus a dinner. Plus, I'm still having a couple of additional protein snacks. I start the real deal 2 wk pre op diet on Feb. 4 no protein snacks I think what I'm dreading the most is the three day liquid diet before surgery. I'll be at a horse show with my daughter for those three days. I don't know how I'm going to do it. But I know I will. I have no choice.

  9. My surgery date is February 18 Dr. Lopez. I was just wondering is there anyone else out there with Feb. Surgery dates going to Mexico.
  10. Yep- dr Ariel Ortiz, feb 17! Do u know what hotel u will be at? I will be at the Marriott after surgery. I'm staying at the Marriott as well. I'm getting the gastric bypass so I'll be in the hospital 3 nights so I won't be back at the Marriott till 21st. You'll probably be leaving that day. Darn, we could have had chicken broth together. Lol hopefully I'll see you coming or going.. Can you believe we are a month away? Sadly I already started a protein diet. I was just doing strictly protein but now I've started the 2 shakes plus a dinner. Plus, I'm still having a couple of additional protein snacks. I start the real deal 2 wk pre op diet on Feb. 4 no protein snacks I think what I'm dreading the most is the three day liquid diet before surgery. I'll be at a horse show with my daughter for those three days. I don't know how I'm going to do it. But I know I will. I have no choice. We must stay in touch... Are you getting the sleeve?

So excited I've already started a protein diet and will start a pre op. diet on the 4th which is 2 protein drinks and a light meal. Unfortunately my BMI is to high 51.6 and you get charged an additional fee if it's not 49 or lower. I have around 20 lbs to lose. Ugh
  15. Yes, Feb. 18th is my date. Mexico Bariatrics with Dr. Lopez..
