calling JAN sleevers! need to hear from ya
My surgery was Jan 20. SW 290 CW 258 so lost 32 and had lost 10 before surgery so down a total of 44. Best decision I ever made. Easy recovery (except the one bout with severe constipation). Losing around 2 to 3 lbs a week although went like two weeks without losing anything. But back on track now. Eating more than I thought I would be able to but losing so it is all good. Eating lots of protein and trying to get enough fluids. Stating to walk more so that should help. Good luck all!

Thanks. I know it is not a race but you still want to see results.

How can I not loose weight.
Thanks for the encouragement. I am getting my 60 grams of protein and drinking water. I eat meat at dinner so think I am getting enough calories and protein. Here's to hoping my stale ends soon!

How can I not loose weight.
I am 6 weeks post op. I have lost 25 lbs but nothing in the past week. How can I possibly not loose weight when I am only consuming like 600 to 700 calories a day. I know I need to be patient but nothing in a week?!?!? How can this be. I thought I would loose like 3 or 4 pounds a week. Getting a little discouraged. It just seems strange that I am getting so few calories but not losing.

POOP.
You will know. I ended up on the ER I was in pain and there was a large amount of stool that was trying to come out but it was too hard and too large. Good luck

Diabetes
I stopped all my meds immediately but checked my levels and never went over 140. Not a great number but doc says that number wouldn't require meds though just diet and exercise. So since we are on the way to lose weight or numbers should go down. I had a blood test 3 woods after surgery and my levels were good. No more meds for me! Good luck

POOP.
I ended up getting impacted and had to go to the ER. Definitely take softener if you are trading pain medication cause they cause constipation. Remember you will not be eating any fiber only protein for a while so take Miralax too. Good luck!

Did you like the GNC shakes?

weight gain
I had my sleeve 20th and lost 10 lbs the first week. I have gained 2 lbs since then. How can that happen. Only eating protein shakes and some eggs and ricotta cheese. So upset!

constipation Wow
I spent 8 hrs in the ER yesterday to remove the impacted stool. Extremely painful! I am sore and exhausted. How that never happens again! Taking Miralax and Colace every day now. I pulled stool the size of lemons out of me.

constipation Wow
Ok so I took 3 tbls of MOM and stool softener and I am still unable to go. There is a large blockage of stool that just won't come out. I really don't want to go to hospital for this I am set to go back to work tomorrow too. This is terrible.

Try the shakes from GNC called Total Lean. They are not thick like others I have tried and they are not too sweet either. My shakes were giving me terrible gas and they were too thick. These are better. Good luck.

constipation Wow
I had diarrhea the first week also. I am going to take the Miralax every day now. I am in so much pain and feel worse than I did after the surgery. I took MOM today and really hope it works. I'd not I am going to have to go to the ER to have them get this out of me.
