1. Hello. I'm Kimberly. I'm not getting a sleeve but I am having a bypass on the 21st. Preop is Tuesday for me
2. Thankfully, I only needed a three month supervised diet. It was a waste of time but it's the hoop we have to jump through. I have Cigna and got my approval phone call in three business days.
3. I dont know about toes but no fingernail polish. It interferes with the oxygen monitor.
4. Good idea. I guess i will start weaning myself off coffee after tomorrow.
5. I'm extremely excited and anxious to start losing weight. I'm looking forward to the day that I can get up and say, "I'm going out for a run!" I'm looking forward to building muscle. I'm soooo ready!
6. Ask about Isopure from GNC. I was told by my dietician that it counts as clear liquids and two bottles of the Isopure makes up your protein for the day
7. I bought my protein drinks, Isopure, jello, Popsicles, toddler spoons, a divided plate, frozen fruits to puree. I also pureed brocoli n cheese sauce, salmon burgers and chicken breast that I boiled with a bouillon cube and seasoning. I strained and bottled the chicken stock and froze it to drink. I also have powdered milk, Resource Beneprotein, and my chewable and/or liquid supplements.
8. I'll let you know for sure Tuesday. They just suggested Isopure and said it was acceptable for clear liquid phase. I'm gonna try and start asap because I'm paranoid about losing hair.
9. Lol. I guess the pic went through.
10. ISOPURE from GNC counts as clear liquids and two bottles count as your day's worth. I was trying to post a pic but the app keeps crashing.
11. I'm glad everything went well.
12. That sounds great. Where are you having your surgery?
13. I couldn't find it. I did see one for sleeves.
14. Hello, I'm Kimberly. My surgery is scheduled for April 21st and I'm committing myself to becoming very successful afterwards. I would love the opportunity to meet people willing to take this journey with me. I'm a healthcare professional and I work 1st shift. I'm available evenings and weekends.
15. Hello. I'm Kimberly from Charlotte, NC. I'm having the bypass on April 21st. Preop is Tuesday!
16. My date Is the 21st too. I have installed a countdown app. 17 days! Lol
17. You could try a nose pillow instead of the full mask. It's a little better. If you can get used to it you will have the best sleep. I just started back using my machine because I had headaches everyday and was falling asleep in the afternoon.
18. My surgery isn't until April 21st and my bag is fully packed! Heating pad included. Lol
19. I'm so glad I didn't have to get a colonoscopy. I have sugar free jello, crystal lite, broth, instant mashed potatoes, Beneprotein, and various sugar free protein shakes in addition to the food I puréed.
20. I'm also sneaking in air freshener for the gas if there's visitors.
21. Initially my surgeon said that I would not be on a preop diet. Now they're telling me I'll get a copy of my diet at preop om the 8th. I'm getting nervous but I've come too far to turn back now!
22. It is literally life changing but I'm ready because this isn't working. I can barely move it seems.
23. I'm glad to read this. Hopefully I'll stay focused when it happens to me. My surgery isn't until next month.
