  1. That explains a lot. Every that came in my room said it was freezing. I was hot. Any who, I'm glad to hear it went well.
  2. I had high blood pressure. I didn't take me meds the morning of surgery. When I woke up my BP was 83/57. I used to run about 135/90. It's back up to 117/84 today. I haven't taken any BP meds since. I'm 1 week postop.
  3. I had a Premier Protein shake for breakfast/lunch. It took me that long to finish. I went to Whole Foods Market and got clam chowder but had the guy in the kitchen strain it for me. Tonight I'll make a Protein Shake in the nutribullet.
  4. I had Rny on 4/21. I'm so grateful to not have any issues. No nausea or cramping. I'm super thirsty though. I had Rny on 4/21. I'm so grateful to not have any issues. No nausea or cramping. I'm super thirsty though.
  5. Yesterday I had that experience walking in Walmart. I either walked too much or wasn't drinking enough.
  6. That's awesome. Less time to be hungry and nervous.
  7. They gave me prozac. Said it was hormones. Told me to try 30 days. I'm skeptical.
  8. I wonder why she said no to the sf popsicles. They gave them to me in the hospital.
  9. I think it's head hunger. Satisfied vs hungry. But I'm missing food too.
  10. Good job on the walking!
  11. Wouldn't it be great to have a "craving pill!" Lol
  12. I can't stop crying. I heard this could happen from the anesthesia. Anyone else?

  14. I'm officially a week out. I had Rny 04/21. I'm already at 236 from HW of 255. SW was 240 though but I'm still thrilled. I was back up to almost 250 from all of the fluids they gave me plus the swelling. The only issues I'm having are head hunger. I also get frustrated because I want to feel food in my mouth. Today is my first day of full liquids. I'm looking forward to protein shakes but I'm nervous that it won't settle well.
  15. I finally see the group responses on the app!
  16. My prayers are with you all this morning too. I'm so happy for you.
  17. I think they gave me like 5 or 6 bags of fluids. I wanted them to stop so bad.
  18. I'm 6 days out and haven't had any pain meds all day. I'm soo looking forward to full liquids tomorrow!
  19. I'm so excited. You'll do great.
  20. Dont be surprised if you wake and one is missing. The polish interferes with the oxygen monitor.
  21. Mine told me toenail polish was accepted. Mine were painted.
  22. Try not to be nervous. It's a piece of cake. I would say just try and stay on top of your pain mess in the hospital. The iv mess work super fast but there's no reason to be in that much pain. Things may be different but that day of surgery, when I woke I was allowed I medicine cup of ice chips per hour. That was torture but I slept mostly. My mom woke me to give me ice. The next day I got one every 15 minutes. It took me about 3-4 hours to finish my meal tray. I'm still a little sore but I didn't take any pain meds today so I think that's a good thing.
  23. I'm very interested. Surgery went well Monday. I'm only having minor discomfort now. No nausea or sickness. Everything is great
  24. When I woke up I said, "the surgery was a fluke. I'm hungry!" They had to explain to me that it was head hunger. It's the worse. I just sip my drink.
  25. That's nice that you were able to meet people starting this journey the same time. I would have liked that.
