  1. Getting close! Have you started your pre-op diet? Are you feeling okay? The 19th will be here before you know it!
  2. Wahoo! Can't wait to hear from you post-op!
  3. I will. I'm also taking a huge bottle of water and a shake in an insulated cup. Yes. I will look strange and I'm okay with that.
  4. I haven't been sleeved yet. I go Thursday. But I have been banded and know exactly how you felt and its normal. Food used to be more than food. It was a part of being social, it was comfort, it was many things. So of course you will have times when you're mad at your sleeve. Just know its okay and you're not alone. And like you said, later on you are glad you couldn't eat all that
  5. Overall yes. But today wasn't my best day. I'm almost ten pounds down so yay for that. I think I will turn in soon. I have to go to a funeral tomorrow It's for my best friend's grandpa so it'll be a long day and I will have to fight the temptation to eat at the reception after. Ugh.
  6. I have three liters of water on my bedside table and I'm fighting hunger as I lay here in bed on my ipad. Which is about to run out of battery. Haha. I may HAVE to sleep. Lol.
  7. At least packing is activity! Pack those calories away mama!
  8. This is great advice. I haven't even been sleeved yet and you're already making me feel better.
  9. I know! It's coming up so soon! I can't wait to on with life. Wahoo!!!!
  10. Naps and water have been my saving grace. Thank god for sleep! Lol.
  11. Wendy's or Chickfila. Ugh. Wendy's would be a spicy asiago ranch chicken club. And my mouth is watering.
  12. Ha! True. What I really wanted was a chicken sandwich! Mmm.
  13. It was the regular campbells. I know that's bad. Everything else I have eaten is fat-free, sugar-free and low fat. I just needed a bit of flavor! And I took half the can out and immediately refrigerated the other half, then mixed it with water and removed some of the beans. It was incredibly satisfying. Lol.
  14. I originally tried blending it with protein powder. It was just wrong!
  15. I understand! I ate a can of bean with bacon soup. Didn't eat even half of the stuff in it. But I was dying for something savory.
  16. Oh. You have the grinder. I read that and forgot to add mine is pre-ground. The fresh grind is so much butter. Hope she finds that one!
  17. Yes. We talked about Protein powders near the end.
  18. We were in class together yesterday! Small world. Haha.
  19. I have found garlic pepper at Vons (Safeway) and albertsons. Mine is also McCormick and its a green label.
  20. Good to know. I have my pre-op appointment on Monday morning so I will ask him.
  21. I don't believe so. I remember seeing a thread talking about tubes. Did you have them? I can't remember.
  22. Where are you having your surgery? Just curious if you're in Orange County from the "OC" in your screen name.
  23. Glad to hear. I'm almost to the other side! Lol.
  24. The curves workout may be something you eventually "out grow" but it sounds like the Jillian plan is something to work towards. As a former curves trainer I am excited to hear about the changes with the new program. I think it's a good way to keep members from quitting because they "get a tougher workout somewhere else." Congratulations on starting Curves. It's a great way to stay motivated and the trainers will help you stay accountable.
  25. How are you feeling BellaDonna? I know you had surgery recently.
