My starting weight was 288. I started trying to lose weight when i booked my surgery back in November. As of this morning, I've lost 26 lbs including my 2 week pre-op diet. That's fantastic!!! Congrats. As of today I am down 26 lbs. 6 since surgery. Feeling great. Still a bit of heartburn but was fixed with the liquid dioval.

So glad to hear that! I'm getting nervous! I fly out on Saturday... what was your starting weight, if you don t mind me asking. were you able to lose what you needed to pre-op? I'm only have lost 10lbs so far in a week and a half (started my 2 week pre op last monday.) down 25 lbs total. was hoping to be down 30lbs before surgery. :\ Good luck. It's all pretty easy. My starting weight was 213 and I'm 5"1. I was suppost to loose 10-20 lbs and I lost 20. Only lost 8 on my preop liquid diet. They don't seem a bit concerned about the amt lost pre op. What was your starting weight?

I had mine done there 8 days ago. Went perfect. I have a bit I heart burn now. But I'm working on it with some new meds. Good luck.

I am 3 days post op gastric sleeve. My drain has been draining less and less but this morning there is lots. I emptied it and it refilled again(about 30mls). It's not bright red. More red tinged water looking. I feel fine. Did this happen to anyone else??

I am heading on the plane now for surgery tomorrow. I have shared this with my parents, husband and sibling. I was really upset to find out today that all my friends have known for the past 2 weeks. My husband told a friend, the friend told his wife and it went from there. I am hurt by 2 things. My husband blabbing something that wasn't his news to share, and my friends for not saying anything the last two weeks. Not the way I anticipated this all rolling out. Feeling shitty about it all. Damit!!!

I Am coming from Canada to TJ Mexico for a VSG with Dr Ortiz at the OCC Feb 4,2014. Just wondering if anyone had suggestions on what to pack. I obviously know the basics but was wondering if there is anything you wish you would have brought with you?

Looking for others that are going to be in Mexico at the same time for gastric sleeve surgery. Coming from Canada.

I am from canada and going for a gastric sleeve in Mexico in feb. I was lookin to find additional medical insurance to buy incase anything went wrong. Eg ICU admission ect. Any suggestions??
