Have or does anybody else had 3 snacks for their pre-op liquid diet. I thought it was a lot to have 3 snacks and 3 meals and a total of 4 protein shakes a day ?

Hello, My surgery is Feb 5th and I am in MD and surgery will be in DC.

Omg!!!! Congrats you lucky dog!!! Keep us updated the time's gonna fly by... Thank you and I will, I went out yesterday and bought some Protein powder and to my surprise it is not that bad, for now I mix mines with greek yogurt and 1% milk. I think this liquid diet is going to be kinda easy

This was funny because that day she called to let me know she was submitting my papers while i was on the phone and 3 days later I was approved and my surgery date is Feb 5

I too have dreads just started not even a yr out but i believe it was one of the best decision i made with my hair.

My surgery is here in the states. Washington DC but I am glad to see I have a surgery buddy, i was getting a little lonely lol Keep us Updated and I will too I have to be there at 5:30am so my day will start early

Congrats to you, the 4th I will be going to my dads because he is closer to the hospital than i am. Keep us updated

I am also in MD and I will be having my surgery with Dr. John Brebbia at WHC in DC. Day of surgery Feb 5

I am also a single mother on medicaid, i am also a full time college student and Monday my papers were submitted to UHC Community Plan through MD Medicaid and Thursday I was approved, so even though it looks bleak finish and even if (praying it does) go well Never Give Up.

Keep your faith, i was just talking to my sister in law who is also my BF and number one supporter and I told her how my conversations went with God and she laughed because I went back and forth with begging to.pleading to lettingbit go and back again. I am praying for you because i know the feeling. i was also shocked that it only took 3 days for an approval. My fav saying is Let Go and Let God. Never give up, your health is worth the fight

I received a call today from the hospital regarding my approval or denial so this is how our conversation went Me:Hello Her: Hi, Can I speak with Ashley please Me: This is she Her: This is Mary from Bariatrics Me: Hi, How are you? Her: I am fine I was calling to schedule your surgery because your insurance APPROVED the surgery. Me: OMGoodness are you serious ? Her: Yes, How is Feb 5th Me: YES, are you serious? So I have been screaming at the top of my lungs since she called and told me... I would not be here or would have achieved any of my goals with out GOD, HE has been my ROCK and my SUPPORTER, HE has seen me through it all and I THANK HIM

I've been where you are. I had to fighy to get my approval but with GOD all this are possible to those who believe. If u have given it to him, leave it there and let him do it. Trust me he will do it. He did it for me and I know he will do it for you!! Keep the faith and DONT DOUBT HIM!!! Please keep me informed and if u need to talk message me. Im all ears!!
