  1. I had my surgery in December, 2013 I too am a slow loser. I started at 293 since surgery I been at 262 since. I have not lost on 2 months I at an 900 calorie a day. I must admit I haven't been working out. But I just joined a gym I wanna see what will happen if anything. I hate to give up when you want it sooooo bad. I have been good with my protein shakes I'm just at a lost. I will keep you posted once I exercise for 2 weeks straight to see if there are any changes.

  8. I am 4 weeks post op and I am currently at a stall. I am so fearful of not losing. My nut says it is normal not to lose week 2-4 because the diet is designed to help heal the stomach. But in my brain, ev 1 around who had the surgery is losing except me. Why? Maybe because I want it so much. I will see what happens this weekend after the bloating goes away. Need I say more? I want to tuck my shirt in my pants without seeing that extra roll under my stomach. Ugghhhh!!!! I hate this feeling.
  9. I agree I am 3 weeks pre op going on 4 and I hit a plateau, but I am still losing inches although it does not show on the scale. I am trying not to get discourage, maybe because I read there are so many others like me.

  12. Something liquid to help you go to the bathroom because I was constipated for 8 days after my surgery.before I got some milk of magnesium doctors recommended it, and it worked like a charm.
  13. This is just scary, and heartbreaking. Im happy for your success story, but extremely sad that your sister is not here to share the journey. She absolutely lived by the phase " dying to be thin" this is not her fault, or the family's. Although you shared her story, celebrate her life by you doing right by the surgery. Did you guys have the same doctor? This is definitely an eye opener. Keep us informed. You are in my heart.
  14. Congrats!!! On your new you. I wish you the best on the journey. Banded dec 17th myself. So I am so on board with your journey. Good luck keep posting your progress.
