  2. Amazing! This is on my goal list for after my surgery, May 28th! I can't wait to start living and feel alive again!! Congrats to you and your accomplishment

My background is Maltese and my father always used the word gal instead of girl, I would always get a laugh out of that when I tried to correct him and he'd say that's the proper way of saying it, I say gal and you say girl he'd also say, he then went on and had a novel published in 2008! Who was I to correct him eh? lol

The small amount of people I told are the ones I thought would support me however I only have this group and just a few people I've told, the rest I've told aren't happy I'm doing this, I guess they don't understand, oh well I'm happy for me and I have all of my bariatric family here which is plenty and enough for me! XOXO

My surgery is set for May 28th and I will be starting my liquid diet with something called optifast 2 weeks prior, the reason for it is to shrink the liver and the fat around the liver and that makes it easier for the surgeon to get to where he needs to during surgery without the liver getting in the way, hope that was helpful to anyone

  20. Yay I did it! The gastroscopy went amazing! They acually put me to sleep and I felt no discomfort at all except for the freezing spray they sprayed into my throat (thought I had better gag reflexes than that ekkk gross) lol all went well with the whole pre op though, now the waiting game May 28th I am READY for you
  21. Thank you honeybunz, I've finished with ultrasound and pharmacist so far, snuck on here between appts lol. Still have to do the gastroscopy ugg! I will post again soon
