My name is kristal. I decided to have the sleeve done after years of being over weight. My weight hit a all time high after a battle with breast cancer. Five years of fighting the side affects and having heart issues as well. I was told that reconstruction surgery would be difficult because of my weight and health. I had surgery. October22 2013. So far I have lost around 25 pounds. I don't know if that's good or bad. At this point I'm happy the scale is moving down and not up. I was 255 at my post op appointment. I am looking forward to my new life!
