K so I had gastric sleeve surgery on December 22nd. I am out of town for a bachelorette party. From eating spicy food and drinking my stomach is so torn up. I can't think about eating or drinking anything!!! HELP!!!! I got sick last night and have a feeling I'll be on the toilet most of today. I know TMI but I just need advice

Okay I had my surgery in December so I'm at the 4 month mark. I've lost 62.5 pounds so far and am feeling great. I'm coming here to just get some suggestions. What are things everyone else is eating that's easy? I work two jobs so finding time to cook is nearly impossible. I'm also a teacher so I've found it easier to eat things that don't need to be heated. For example: I eat grilled turkey breast and a piece of cheese (made with 2% milk) because it's easy to eat while in the classroom. I also snack on things like beef jerky and mixed nuts.

WHat are good recipes where I can add the unjury protein powder??

I Had my surgery on December 19th and started at 228.5 pounds. I have lost 25.5 pounds so far. I know I need to get myself to a gym or something but can't get motivated. I am a full time 3rd grade teacher and then teach dance every night. I'm exhausted by the time I get home. Suggestions???

An you bake using the unjury protein powder?

K so I'm at the soft food stage and ate lunch at 11:30. It's an hour later and I'm hungry again. I had 4 OZ of mashed cauliflower. Any ideas/suggestions? I also had 1/2 banana for breakfast, 1/2 of my protein shake, and 26 OZ of water.

How many ounces at a time does your NUT say to eat?

Thanks a lot! I'm drinking a V8 now and it's helping a little. I don't have another follow up appointment for 2 more weeks. Just worried that I'm still feeling hungry because I read some people saying they are never hungry.

Is the Paleo diet good to follow after surgery???

I'm in the same boat. I have not had any problems getting in my daily fluid intake or the protein drinks! When I eat low fat creamy soups I still don't feel really full. Hope this is ok :/

What else did y'all eat on the clear liquids phase? I definitely am in need of variety. I have today and tomorrow left before I can have protein shakes.

How long after surgery did your NUT allow you to add fruit to your protein shake?

I Had my one week post op visit today!!!!! I lost 17.49 pounds. Seeing that number go down on the scale really made the hard times at Christmas worth it! I was also given the go ahead for smoothies

I bought a big container and hate it. Suggestions? Ugh I knew this stage of adding protein drinks/shakes would be hard!!!!

I got a protein shake from smoothie king yesterday. I added the PB2 and it did help. It just took me hours to finish it haha

I'm 6 days post surgery and yesterday and today was miserable to be quite honest. My doctor said I can't have protein shakes until Friday but I had zero energy today. I didn't realize just how hard it would be to be surrounded by all the delicious food ????

I was sleeved on Thursday and am at my parents house for the Saints game. It's also my brothers birthday. This means king cake, cookie cake, fried chicken, hot dogs, and every dip imaginable. I could use some words of encouragement because I think this will be a rough day!

I brought some soup. My doctor does not want me to have yogurt until days 10-14. I'm currently drinking crystal light trying to keep my mind off the food.

Hey everyone! I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Thursday, December 19th. I got home a little while ago and am feeling pretty good. The only real issue I'm have is the pains in my chest from all of the gas. Does anyone any tips for my first week...including gas pains, what to eat, etc

Yeah my surgery went really well other to ham a little gas pain so they let me go home after just 24 hours!
