  1. Thanks Meli... it went great.... I am so much more at ease about my progress ... Nurse Connie is the best... everything that I had anxiety about or paranoid about was shot down by her with facts and education... I am so relieved... I am going back on Jan 29th
  2. Slomeli I go there as well in fact I will be there for a fill this wednesday
  3. When I say tummy talking I really mean I am hungry. I have noticed that if forget to eat or I realize I haven't eaten in 6-8 hours that I get a dull pain. Just curious if I have done something to my band.
  4. I have been noticing that if I am hungry and have to wait to eat, or forgot to eat, that I get a dull pain then my tummy talks. Is this something that others have experienced?
  5. Accountability is also my problem. I always find a justification for the bad things I eat. I probably would do better if I had a support group I could attend. I think facing people would motivate me to be more accountable. Thoughts?
  6. I have got to stop being so hard on myself. I can do this. I have come to far to fail. I know each one of us can do this. We need to focus and keep a solid support group. Happy New Year everyone and Happy New You!

  8. I would love to have a support group in the spring/ cypress area! !!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I have eaten so poorly the past wwek that I want to cry but can't stop eating poorly. I have gain 5lbs. I am working long shifts alone overnight so I am bored. That's when bad habits come into play. UGH!!! Whats wrong with me! I have worked too hard and waited too long to mess this up.
  10. How do you know if your band has slipped? Also when is too soon for fill #2?

  13. I guess I have come to the shameful realization of how much food controlled my life.
  14. I struggle the most with food. I am most fearful of bad habits not cravings but bad habits coming back. I also dont like the feeling of no control. Before the band I just gave up and ate whatever. I tipped the scale at 320 lbs. that's my heaviest ever. I loved the fact of losing 35 lbs but plataued the start to gain. I gained because I am able to eat regular diet. They aren't kidding when they call it bandster hell!
  15. Somali, I am glad you have a support base. I am trying to reestablish a healthy and enjoyable relationship with food. It is harder than anticipated.
  16. Sherlock, I know that there are thousands of people on here that have had the band. In my world I know of a few but only two have had the band or sleeve. My family has no idea I have done this. That's what I meant by alone. A select few of my friends know what I have done and help me. J come here because I am embarrassed that I have let food have so much control of me and my life. The others do not think understand.
