  1. I'm actually from Kalgoorlie but had my surgery done in Perth. Who's out there?
  2. I don't know how much protein I'm getting each day. I just try to eat protein with each meal. I will start to track it. I'm not sure what my goal is. I'll look around. I do drink lots of water so that's good.
  3. NothingUpMySleeve, I can't tell you how relieved I am to know I'm not alone. I had heard of people losing weight then gsining it back but not of someone not losing at all. All I heard was stories of people who lost so much weight they had to buy new clothes all the time. My doctor doesn't seem to care and didn't have any advice. I'm like you, I feel like a total failure. I feel humiliated that I can't even do This right. Such a major step that seemingly work for everyone but me. Lets help each other. I'll pass on any articles or threads I find and you do the same. There has to be more of us out there snd hopefully answers.
  4. Thanks, I'll check it out.
  5. I had my surgery in Perth at the Glen Gary hospital, Australia. I've followed my post op diet to the letter. I did seem to heal quickly which is nice. I'm active and am not having any problems eating. I just feel so alone and disheartened.
  6. I eat two eggs for breakfast most days, apple slices and peanut butter for lunch or apple slices and cheese. For dinner I eat chick peas, tuna, cheese (a few slices of Goda or parmigiano), fruit, chicken breast pieces.....not all of that at once of course but that's sort of the foods I rotate through. I love water and always have some with me. That's about it. I feel like I failed, I feel like I failed at dieting my whole life and I can't even make this work. I did talk to my Dr. and he said he wasn't sure what was going on but to come back in a month. Not helpful.
  7. The end of overeating by David Kessler I'm reading it right now and it fantastic!
  8. I've lost two lbs since I left the hospital five weeks ago. Five weeks out and only two lbs. Please don't talk to me about stalls, people that lose 20 lds can have a "stall". But I am NOT losing any weight! Am I really the only one who gets half of their stomach out and still can't lose weight?
  9. I did finally get mine and it was a doozy.
  10. It's been a month, you'd think my hospital water weight would be gone.
  11. My Dr didn't give me very many post instructions. I'm on well chewed solids. I can eat almost anything. Still not losing any weight.
  12. I haven't lost any weight since leaving the hospital! None! What's going on?
  13. Four weeks out and I've still only lost the 8 pounds I lost the first day, none since then.
  14. I need to check out this book!
  15. This sounds plausible. I'm going to do more research.
  16. Sorry I miss typed...I am not three months out, I'm three weeks out. My period is almost a week late.
  17. Three months out and four days late. And no im not pregnant. What's going on?
  18. Hi I'm out here in KALGOORLIE! Three weeks sleeved.
  19. What plan am I supposed to be following? A couple of you have mentioned plans. My nut was sick so I got a few instructions as to what to eat from the nurse but not much. What plan?
  20. It's so frustrating! I'm eating like a little baby bird, had this huge thing done to my body and still not losing weight. I started at 210 and last night I was 203. I'd gained back 2 lbs.
  21. Ok I'll try to keep my head up. It just seems like other people plato months after not a week after. It's been two weeks since I dropped. I only started at 210 and I know heavier people loss faster but shoot, I haven't even dipped under the 200 mark.
  22. I lost 5 kg or about 10 lbs the first week and nothing since. I've been eating healthy. What's going on? Do some people just not lose at all?
  23. So what some other people first week out waits? I'm 5' 5" and started at 210, eight days out and I've lost just 6#. I'd like to hear from you.
