  1. I haven't taken a multivitamin yet.. (My dr told me to wait til 1 month post op) but I've also heard the prenatals are the best for bariatric patients.
  2. My dr told me it doesn't matter which calcium you take just get your calcium in. He said their has been a lot of speculation as to which we absorb better but neither one is significantly different than the other.
  3. New seasons, whole foods, some walmarts
  4. Could you email this to me as well? Kpatnode90@gmail.com
  5. This is why it's important to get your protein in and do at least 15 minutes of activity a day. By exercising you tell your body you want to burn fat and not lean muscle.
  6. My back was really bothering me then too! I used a heating pad a lot
  7. A lot of people do Wendy's chili, my nut said it was ok too
  8. They told me no protein supplements after then either. To get my protein from whole foods. They also told me to wait a month before taking my multivitamin. I got sent home with 40 of the small percocet, the ones with no Tylenol. As soon as I got constipated I quit using them. My weight restriction is no more than 10lbs for 6 weeks! I wish I had yours cuz my laundry weighs more than 10 lbs, I have to make extra trips lol.. Oh well I guess the walking is good!!! Good luck on your surgery! I will be thinking of you!! Can't wait to read more updates from you.
  9. I got them throughout my pre op liquid diet and I know it wasn't because of no caffeine because I have been caffeine free for like a year. On those days broth seemed to help. So far post op I haven't had any headaches.
  10. Lol ewwww! No amount of ranch could fix that pizza!!! LolPlease. I'd eat it. Really I would. I'm so sick of liquids.I'm so sick of liquids too!! I've been on liquids since march 10th ughhhhhh
  11. Day 3 or 4 was super emotional for me too, and then it hit me hard again on day 6 ( I was constipated and in pain) once I got over that I have been okay since. Keep on keepin on! One day at a time!
  12. My surgery was also the 24th and I've been averaging 350 calories a day too... Yesterday I hit 410 which was an all time high. I talked to my nut and she said I'm right on track, that seems to be the norm this early out. She said i won't be getting all my fluids or protein yet but keep trying. She said I'll probably eat around 500 calories up to one month post op. So just stay hydrated and keep trying!
  13. Lol ewwww! No amount of ranch could fix that pizza!!! Lol
  14. Can you all believe it's already April!? Your day is almost here!! Good luck April surgeries!!
  15. Step away from the scale! Lol let yourself heal, plus they pumped you full of fluids to have some reserves when you went home. I was almost 10lbs heavier leaving the hospital then when I went in, by day 3 I was even with my pre op weight, I'd lost that water weight but they say most people hold onto it a little longer, I've just got young kidneys. Take a deep breath, this process will work for you, let your body heal. <3
  16. You are in my thoughts! Sending positive vibes your way! Have a nice sleep!!! Your world is about to change as you know it!
  17. I slept 30 min the night before surgery and I wish I took some melatonin and slept more because the three days in the hospital they woke me up every 15-30 min. The day I left my fiancée was like do u want me to go pick this up then come get you and I was like noooo get me the hell out of here so I can sleep lol
  18. Ahhh ok I have been having the exact opposite. Lol maybe because of my age... I'll be 24 on April 12th but I could wake up in the middle of the night ready to go!
  19. I live in Portland and would absolutely love to participate in this!
  20. You mean like... Dry? Dry??? Or what cuz I thought I knew what you meant but then was confused by the above response so I'll wait for clarification before I reply lol!
  21. I hated my pain pump hateddddd it. I hate pain meds via IV period. They hit you so fast and wear off so fast and I just don't like the instability. Id rather take a pill and be good for 4 hours. I was so excited when they took it away.
  22. Muscle Does not weigh more than fat. A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of butter It is such a peeve for me to hear "muscle weighs more than fat" lol no it weighs the same it just takes up less space!
