  1. I have my surgery on January 10th, so I have no idea what you are dealing with, but wanted to say "good luck and hang in there"...and please keep us posted as to when your stuck feeling ends and what your doctor said.
  2. I think it differs depending on what type of insurance you have. I have PEIA (Public Employees Insurance) through my employer and I had to go to my lap band doctor for 12 months, loose 5% of my body weight, and not gain any in the process, had to quit smoking, be cleared by a cardiologist (when they took the pictures of my heart during my stress test, the pictures showed I had a blockage on the back side of my heart, so I also had to have a heart cath which showed NOTHING thank God)...I think that was pretty much it.
  3. Not yet...I go on the 23rd to learn all about that fun part...lol..I do know it's 10 days and it's some kind of protein drink...
  4. Thanks Terry. I have my pre-op meeting on 12/23 and I have to do a 10 day Protein pre-op diet....which is making me VERY nervous...does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best tasting/favorite Protein Drink out there might be...one that preferably makes you feel full longer...?
  5. I've been approved by my insurance (PEIA) to have lap band surgery. My surgery has been scheduled for January 10th. What do I do now/first? Scared.....excited...!!!
