  1. Is it possible to count every single calorie? If I make tuna, little mayo (cause I do not like mayo), Mrs. Dash. Would I have to figure out the calories down to the seasoning? This is an example.
  2. I'm 3 days post-op EVERY SIP brings on more gas unbearable gas. My liquid intake should be at 64oz by day three and I'm hardly taking in 20 and that's a stretch. Help!!!!!

  5. You may ask for an incomplete and it should be granted as long as you present your hospital paperwork. I did it and was approved. I now have until the end of spring semester. I will not need all that time but it's nice to know your given ample time.

  10. I become very thirsty and when I drink I'm not take the recommended sips (I still have my old mind). Gas tends to set in after I drink, really bad gas. So I rake gasX prior to drinking a this has helped. I put up signs in in my house to remind me of what and how I should be doing with my sleeve. This is all new, any suggestions from veteran sleever?
  11. I did a two week pre-op diet too. It gets easier especially if you prep the night before. I set up my shakes in bottles, my jello, and broth. This is something we have to learn to be successful on the other side.
  12. Surgery went well yesterday.....gas pains are like torture but I was just able to have liquids after I passed my leak test. So gas is moving around more. Im still on pain meds still but making it through. I feel like I've lost more weight. I'm sitting on the loser bench!

  14. Congrats to you! When are you due to go back to work? As I'm typing I'm in pre-op/triage, I was stuck three times trying to get a vein : ( my surgery was pushed back 2 hours do I'm just trying to relax as u h as I can.
  15. I arrived at the hospital at 8:32 was suppose to check in at 8:45. I was sent to the waiting area, where I stayed until 11:17. I'm now in triage sitting here for not sure how long but they are hours behind in the OR. I'll post later with updates.

  17. Have been on the pre-op diet for two weeks. Starting weight 283.6, now....I'm 266.2!!!! I'm so happy, it's not the goal of 20 lbs. I set but I'll take it. Surgery today! : )

  19. Don't worry... I was so tired day of I could barely stay awake during admission! I think the nurse thought something was wrong with me because I kept dozing off. Lol. You'll get plenty of rest after surgery. Good luck! Thanks!
