  1. Thanks for all the feedback. I work around really negative people and they are always talking about people and especially if they have lost a lot of weight. I don't plan on telling them about my weight lost surgery, but I sure don't want to start looking old and give them any reasons to have something to say. Thanks
  2. I have not been sleeved yet, waiting on my surgery date. For those who have lost weight over six months or more, I would like to know have you notice your face sagging from the large amount of weight loss. I worry about my face looking old after weight loss. Please share your stories on this to help me.
  3. Wow, I'm sure you are hungry, but it's almost over. I'm so not ready for the liquid diet but I'm trying to get my mind ready for it. I had some Soup today in an 8 oz cup, um. At least you will be in the hospital on Thanksgiving so you won't be tempted to taste any food. Good luck and please keep us posted on your progress.
  4. Hi neighbor, my surgeon is Dr.Johnson from Southern Regional. Do you have a date yet?

  6. Wow...I'm so amazed at the list of things ppl have to do before they get approved. I'm so happy my ins company didn't ask for all of that. Also I'm in Stockbridge.

  8. Wow, that's a boomer, so what month are you on? Who is your doctor and what side of town do you live in? Well if I was you the closer to the six months deadline I would start getting my psych eval done, start going to some support groups, go ahead and get your labs done...include a Tsh, glucose, iron, hpylori breath test, cholesterol and a complete metabolic test. If you can go ahead and get a endoscopy done right at the six months that would be better. This way once the dieting is over and you have everything else done the doctor can submit to the ins and they can give you a surgery date sooner.
  9. Hey, I'm from Ga. I haven't been sleeved yet, hoping to get my surgery date for next month after my endoscopy. What about you?

Phentermine is great but once you stop taking the pills, you are going to eat everything in sight. You will gain the weight back that you lost plus more. The side affects are constipation, dry mouth, not able to sleep...you will be taking benadryl to go to sleep. It is a great pill but it's not long term. I don't know anyone that has kept the weight off after taking phentermine.
  11. It is a bacteria that is in your stomach...you should not want to have surgery until it is all gone. The bacteria could spread or leak out. Don't be so excited that you don't care about your health.
  12. Hi!!!!! I'm new here...I have not been sleeved yet. I want to know has the sleeve helped you have a bowel movement or is it harder?
