  1. Woke up this morning weighing 179, goal is 175...so excited to see if I will reach my goal this time.
  2. I'm in again, goal 175.
  3. I thought I was never going to stop burping, it does get better. Now I just burp when I'm really hungry.
  4. Wow wow wow..you look GREAT. You are truly another person. I'm so happy for you.
  5. Didn't meet my goal, final weigh in 183...I wanted 180, but I'm still happy :-) :-) :-)

  7. Thanks for the advise, I've been sooo scared to eat bread since my sleeve. I will still wait maybe another month to eat it. Too scared it will put pounds abd inches on me. But I really miss eating sandwiches.
  8. I really don't know. Is it really okay to have a sandwich? I'm 3 months po and I would love a sandwich. What type of bread are you eating?
  9. You are mentally preparing yourself for your wls. I was the same way.
  10. Thanks for the advise. I'm hoping to get down to your size one day soon.
  11. Lol, I really do enjoy walking but today was just one of those days that I preferred the wrong foods. This weekend I will do much much better.
  12. I have been feeling stressed about a few things for about two weeks. I'm 3 months into my journey with the sleeve and today I nibbled on some really bad foods. I should have gone walking during my lunch but the weather was too cold. What do you do when you are stressed?
  13. I totally understand, I was the same way. Once out of recovery I was like, What have y'all done to me? For days I was mad, hungry and was so tired of everything you named. All I can say, it does get so much better. This is very early for you. Your stomach was cut not your brain so it natural for you to want more to eat. Continue to drink your water water water, in the midst of being mad you don't want to get dehydrated.
  14. I used my PLB time and then my FMLA. I say use the FMLA just in case something happens and you need more time off. FMLA saves your job if you need more time off from work. I thought I was really strong and would bounce right back, but it took me a month to go back to work. You maybe different. I too didn't want to tell anyone about the surgery but once the pounds and mainly inches starts coming off and you start wearing new clothes, people are going to ask,"have you loss weight?" I would say, No, not really. But now, I just go ahead and say, yeah I did something during the Christmas and I go on from there. One of the reasons I felt like being honest is, I want to help people in losing weight and since our insurance did cover it, they too can do the same thing.
  15. This morning I was 186.
  16. You are too funny. He did get better.
  17. It is when you have come out of the 200, 300 and you are finally in the 100...it could be 199, it's still onederland...Yay
  18. Random thought...I need to start endorsing something to say, "this is how I lost my weight." I don't believe half of the people on commercials when they say, I lost my weight by taking this pill, eating this type of food, and etc....REALLY. I couldn't be the only one with this thought.
  19. Congrats, stay focus, walk, walk, walk and sip your Water. GasX strips worked good for me, ice pops were good too and a heating pad for my stomach was great. That first week was so hard for me, but everyone is different so I hope this will be a breeze for you. Wish you so much success with your new life.
  20. Thanks for the support and advise. :-)
  21. I just read about the meaning of Onederland and I have been in this place for a while, so HAPPY. I'm,186 this morning so I have lost 29 pounds since surgery December 17. I think that is slow compared to some of the post I've read on here but I'm happy to be losing. I didn't measure myself before this journey started but I know I have last tons of inches because none of my clothes fit...YAY!!! Thank God for this surgery.
