  1. Yeah I've seen a huge decline in mine as well.
  2. I'm 3 months out and I've already had two. One at about a month that lasted 2 weeks and one i am going threw now. It's been about 2 weeks also. I know I'm getting small but it's annoying when the scale doesn't follow lol.
  3. It goes by so fast. Iol, it only feels like yesterday I went under.
  4. Congrats. Welcome to the club.
  5. Speaking for myself of course, hope this helps. 1. what exactly does the pain feel like right after surgery? Most of my pain was on my incisions themselves. And I wouldn't call it pain really. It was more like a tightness. Same as with any large cut. I had no internal pain at all. My larger incision was tacked down to my abdominal wall so when ever I tried to sit up or move the wrong way it would pull. But it was more annoying than anything. That eventually released and after that I didn't feel any more pain what so ever. Of course everyone has different pain tolerances, mine happens to be pretty high. 2. Do they let you wear underwear during surgery? I was completely nude under my gown. I was extremely worried about this too. I was insecure about having so many people around me while I was completely naked. But once you put your gown on they gave me blankets that I covered up with the entire time I was awake. To answer you question, No. They told me to take them off. 3. were you have to use the restroom by yourself? I tried to go by myself about 4 hours after my surgery. Bad ideal lol. I made a mess. I recommend a spouse or family member to be there to help you the first time if you are not sure of yourself. I wish I wouldn't have been stubborn lol. 4. Is there a trick to making it less painful when getting up or sitting? I found there was only two ways that I would not be able to feel any discomfort. One was to left my wife pull me up from the couch/recliner and or I would basically roll off the couch and lift myself with my legs and back. After a few days I could gradually get up with no to little pain though. If you take your meds like you should then I don't think the pain is going to be that severe that you will not be able to get up at all.
  6. Starting: 307 Current: 303 Goal: 292

  10. I would say it is "normal" for you to produce less stool. I know in my situation I was kinda like you in that it was a given that I would go at least two times a day. And that was because of the amount and type of food I was eating. But it isn't normal to go more than two days for sure. Like others have said try drinking more fluids and call your Dr. if you have the slightest discomfort and they will tell exactly what to do.
  11. Thanks! It does feel good to workout again.
  12. I've been riding my bike on off gym days and I was able to go 10 miles yesterday. Pretty exciting considering I would only do about a mile when I started lol. My legs feel like jelly though.
  13. Current: 307 Goal: 292 LETS GO!!!!!!
  14. Just keep pushing. I also had a stall at 4 weeks. You have to let your body adjust to the new life. The new food and the new workouts. Remember you are also building muscles. Even walking on a treadmill will build muscles. The scale doesn't always show you the real truth. You will start losing again.
  15. I was sleeved on the 24th of October and I'm down 65 pounds. I started out at 370. I felt the sleeve was best for me because it had minimal side effects and I wanted this to be a permanent life changing event for me. Either way you go I think you are going to drop weight as long as you are motivated to do so.
  16. I have found that the change in your diet does that. I used to go 2 times a way, now its about once every other day. Just make sure you are getting enough fiber in your diet.
  17. Start: 311 Current: 307 Goal: 299
  18. Current: 311 Goal: 299 I know I'm late but what they hay.
  19. 1) I didn't have many issues at all. I did wake up a few days after my op with nausea but I started taking a pill right before bed for the first week and it never came back. Other than that I have had zero complications. Went back to work 7 days after surgery and was driving then also. 2) I have been eating a lot of meat and eggs. Like RJ I do have the occasional (SMALL) piece of pizza. I try and restrict my "carb" days to Sunday. But other than that I can eat anything you can imagine just in very small quantities. I think my favorite meal is chicken wings right now. I usually bake 6 and will eat 3 for dinner and take 3 for lunch the next day.
  20. I have 4 other techs in my office and I have only told my friend whom I work with. Everyone else thinks I had a hernia repair and that I am just trying to change the way I live. I don't think they need to know any more than that. Especially if you aren't very close with your co-workers. You should defiantly tell them you are going on vacation if they don't already know.
  21. My lunch today was 3 baked chicken wings with home-made orange sauce. Sorry I ate it before I saw this post, so no pic lol
