  6. Hey everyone! Wow 11 months! I'm so happy to be on this side of the weight loss journey. I am now 177, 27lbs a way from my goal. I started at 300lb and surgery weight was 265. I am losing my weight very slowly now and eating about 1,000 cal a day. I was working out like crazy and then wasn't sleeping. Now I workout 5 days a week and I feel much better. I was approved for skin surgery so that will be my next goal. Meeting with the plastic surgeon in a few months. I'm proud of everyone here; keep up the great work!

  12. I think you are doing an awesome job! Keep it up. You should follow what your doctor and nutritionist says not the trainer. I was eating 750 calories and burning 2,000 for the first 7 months. Now I'm eating 1,000 and burning 3,000 a day. I was 280 at surgery date now I'm 180lbs it been 10 months. So you can do it! ????

  17. Yup, a no here. The idea of carbonation stretching my stomach is enough for me too. I haven't had it in 6 months!
  18. Great job on the 55lbs. I had a problem with hungry and my doctor told me that she wasn't increasing my calories (still eating 700 a day) u ntill i eat at least 70 grams of protein a day, i eat 80g now. And that did the trick! I'm not hungry any more and i don't go over 700cal.My trick- i eat shrimp or chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner with lots of veggies a few crackers and lots of water. I hope that helps!

  21. Hey everyone! So I am almost 3 months post op., yay! Lost 40lbs and 75lbs since January total. I'm not 100% sure but I believe I'm starting To lose alttle of my hair. I remember someone telling me that they use hair Vitamins and they sell them at costco. I need to buy them ASAP! What do you use??
  22. Wow 1400 calories. Are you seeing a weight loss surgery nutritionist? My nutritionist gave me a 700 cal and 70 grams of Protein goal for the next 3 months and I had the RNY on 9-11-14. Try and see one so you can tell them your exercise routine and etc. Hope that helps.
  23. Yes it is!!!! Thanks!
  24. Hey everyone! I had RNY on 9-11-14 and I feel about 95% better. I've lost 31 lbs feel so great in all my clothes and I'm getting complements from everyone! I feel great.
  25. You may have to take a few more days off. I would suggest more protein-hope that helps.

  27. I'm sooooo happy to read that all of the September surgeries went well and everyone is doing better. It's so awesome to be apart of this group. My update: It's been 19 days post op and I'm finally feeling a little normal. I've lost 22lbs... I still have some pain in the left side of my belly but I think it's more gas then anything else. I'm really looking forward to drinking more then 2 oz of water every 15 mins. And eating solid foods in a few months. I'm having better days then bad and I've learned to eat more protein in the morning in order to feel better through out the day. ????
  28. Hey sherrib4health don't worry in no time you will be feeling better and good to go!
