I'm a secretary at a hosp and ill be recovering on the floor I work for. The manager is gonna get me a private room. She said I wouldn't have a foley?? I thought i would. Which is why i wanted to shave the kitty lol

Oh really?? I didn't know that! I honestly didn't research as much as I should have. But the sleeve seemed too new to me. Don't dwell on your first decision. You didn't know what would happen. Now mover forward no worries!!! It will get better!!

Rafa what happened to your band surgery? Didnt work? The surgeons I go to wont even do the band anymore. Guess its been bad.

Uh ya I have been too!!! I want to enjoy everything I can because I know my life is going to change in a month!! I have plans every Saturday night this month to go out to eat. I know...I'm terrible!!!

Wow it really sucks that people say this stuff and don't support us. But it's good to hear that I'm not the only one with negative people around me!! And I work at a hospital and am the Secretary of the surgical unit so it was hard telling all of those nurses!! Especially the Manager of the unit!!! She keeps trying to talk me out of it. But at least she is getting me a private room lol!! My parents aren't on board either so that really bums me out. . I love these forums tho!! Makes me feel so much better!! It's good to have support even if its from people I don't even know . Thanks guys!!!!

Exactly!!!! Ugh insurance is a pain in the ass!!! I guess I'm pretty lucky I don't have to do all of that. Humana just required a 3 month diet from my physician. And I only have to do a liquid diet 5 days before surgery. It's amazing how different everyone's insurance is!! Hang in there!! The things u r doing r awesome!! U have great will power! I'm bad because I've been eating crap!! I know I won't be able to have it anymore so I'm trying to enjoy it while I can lol

Awwwww that is a tough blow . BUT the only thing u can do is stay positive and keep doing what u r doing because its all the right stuff!!! And this is why u need the surgery! U r proving your point right? So u have to lose a certain amount before u can have surgery?? DON'T GIVE UP!!!!

Don't buy too many!! I have heard from numerous people that your tastes change after the surgery so u might not like the same shake after that u did before! Just an FYI

The psych appt??? How come??? It was so easy!!!! My doc just asked about me like where I'm from, family medical history, what diets and exercise I've tried before, what meds I'm on. Only took 45 min! Nov will be here before u know it!

And sorry u r going thru all of that chelle. Why do they have to do it at the same time?

Hi!! I'm a newbie too lol. I just found out yesterday that Humana approved my surgery and its scheduled for Oct 16th!! I have so many emotions right now!!! Sorry you two are having troubles but it will be worth it!!! Are u sick of hearing that yet?? Lol
