  1. Your weight should start going down after a few days of leaving the hospital. Your body still has a lot of swelling and fluids from the iv. Keep sipping your Water. I did great the first week and lost 11 lbs. second week has been a lot tougher and I've only lost 2lbs because I'm having a hard time getting all of my fluids. Just keep sipping!
  2. So today was my surgery and everything has gone well so far! When I first woke up, I felt like I had been hit by a train. But they started me walking after one hour and the pain is tolerable. Have gas pains in my chest and shoulder, but otherwise they say I'm doing very well. I have four incisions. It's taken a year to get here but I'm so happy to now be on the losers bench. Good luck to everyone having their surgeries in the coming weeks!
  3. The pre-op diet is rough but you will get through it. The first few days are the hardest, but after day five it seems to even out. My pre-op diet is 7 days of full liquids, 3 days of clear liquids. I've lost 14 lbs. in nine days. Good luck to you!
  4. Hi! My surgery is scheduled for Friday, September 6th. So nervous!
