  1. Absolutely mine did. I went with bland food and for protien smoothies I used Torani SF flavored syrups
  2. My starting weight was : 191 Surgery weight was : 188 Today i weigh : 172 Im kinda bummed that I have not lost more weight, Im in the pureed stage and eating 2 medicine cups or less at each meal
  3. I agree, and it helps get rid of the painful gas!!
  4. Im in the pureed stage and post op 3 weeks, So I had an ounce of ff refried beans and an ounce of lowfat cottage cheese.
  5. I was told that any liquid that you consume counts towards the 64 oz. If you use water or unflavored almond milk for your protien drinks..it counts.
  6. I have tried the Cytosport pwdr and the Cookies n Cream is the best tasting.
  7. Im home from the hospital it was a good stay and excellent team of doctors at Cottage Hospital. They gave me decaf tea, a protein drink and broth while I was there. Today I start on full liquids for 2 weeks and all sugar free items. Exercise as tolorable, and I am in a bit of pain still and still have some gas pains. Thank goodness for no other symptoms such as heart burn and nausua. Started on chewable vitamins today they are kinda tastey from Celebrate.
  8. Mine is tomorrow September 23 and I cannot wait. I am so glad that I found the site at first my surgery was denied. Then I apealed it. I am so grateful that it will take care of my diabetes. Good luck to everyone.
  9. Has anyone tried agave for sweetening tea?
  10. Hi everyone, wow what a great app this is. I have learned a lot already. I'm nervous as I want to make sure I get in all liquids and protein possible. Did anyone have any flavors they didn't like but did before your surgery?
