  1. I want to change my screen name. Is someone does a search on my name all my posts come up. I'm not telling anyone I'm having surgery so it would be nice to have a different name.
  2. Oh I'm 32 a week away from 33! I'm 5'5 and 250lbs 250 is the Top weight I've ever been.
  3. Hello!!! I have not heard from the Baratric center but I called my INC and they said YES I'm approved!!!! December 30th is my life changing day. I originally was approved for gastric bypass was two weeks away from surgery and it did not feel right, I could not get over the malabsorption, and losing the bottom part of your stomach that lets alittle food out at a time Into your intestines. So I now feel really good I'm ready for a new life!
  4. Remember it's to shrink your liver to make the surgery less dangerous. I to thought I was going to die having to do it for four weeks and the I cancelled. I decided I wanted sleeve and not bypass. I have to go through that hell again in four weeks! Hang in there! It's for the best! Everyone says that the pre opt diet is the worst part of the whole process. Your in the home stretch! You can do this!
  5. I to canceled my original surgery because of lack of support (it was for gastric bypass) I decided to do this for ME, I'm taking charge! My surgery day is DEC 31st. I hope you you well. And I have a feeling people will be more supportive when they see how healthy we become;) here's hopping!

  7. Sure, I'm going to be on it for a while, drinking water helps, staying in bed some mornings help too gives you en extra shake in the day.

After al long long long thinking process and weighing the pros and cons I've decided to weight on getting the surgery, I'm going to do the shakes for as long as I can if it takes a year it takes a year. I'm going to try that and see if I can do it on my own. I hope I can do it. I hope I'm making the right decision. I'm just not able to get over the chewing, the small bites, the vitamin problems etc. I hope I'm making the right choice.
  11. I've been walking three times a week I know I need to do more but this is all I can do right now three weeks until surgery.
  12. Scares me, I'm three weeks away from surgery and my biggest fear is the vit. Loss. I'm so scared I won't get enough in and I will get sick in one form or another. Seems so hard to keep up, as I get older what happens then?
  13. I'm on the 7th day of a 4 week liquid diet, let me tell you it's been crazy hard, one thing that has helped is chicken both. And sleeping if you can in the morning so you skip the first two shakes, then you get extra shakes in the day;) what is everyone else doing to cope?

  18. It does get better, I'm on day 6 and its alittle better. Not great but better! Can't believe it's 4 more weeks.
  19. I'm feeling better about getting surgery. I just worry about what to eat after, right now I'm in a slump, I'm so tired that I don't want to cook or go to the store, I buy things and I feel to bad to cook them, please tell me things get better after surgery, that I will have more energy and want to cook more:)
