Yes that is what I did, and the approval was easy after that.

Three months, had my surgery June 11 and have already lost 50lbs between the two week pre diet and the post surgery. No regrets just remember to move like they tell you after surgery. I can already ride my bike 5 miles and I'm loving life again. I still have between 80 to 100lbs to go, but for the first time in years I think I can do it.

I have that. If you do everything the doctor ask you to do it isn't hard.
