  7. QUESTION: Hi everyone...I am almost 3 weeks out from my surgery & am having an awful time trying to eat...I noticed that after about 2 spoonfuls (baby spoon being used) I'm burping (sign of fullness)...today I wasn't sure & tried to eat a little more & I got ill...as it stands I'm not even getting 1/4 c. I'm feeling like crap & do well to eat once a day...so the question is has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks I hope you have a great day! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

  9. Ooh I thought of more: I won't miss my buttons popping on my shirt Wearing undergarments to lock in the rolls Crossing my legs at the knees & not the ankles Sweating just by dialing a phone number Buying chafing cream Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  10. I won't miss the expensive fashion choices in an effort to look good I won't miss being winded walking across campus I won't miss pretending to click my airplane belt & praying the flight attendant doesn't catch on I won't miss worrying if I can fit in roller coaster seats, booths, movie seats, etc I won't miss feeling like the odd man out when I go out with friends MOST IMPORTANTLY I won't miss my outside not matching my inside! 11. OMG I had a taste for yams or sweet potato pie...so I decided to make me a protein drink with vanilla extract, vanilla protein powder, 1/4c of sweet potato, vanilla Greek yogurt, nutmeg & cinnamon! Yummy in my tummy 30g of protein...if you want a change try it! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  12. While I haven't had as many set backs in the almost 2weeks post op I know how it feels to have a crap storm of things happen to the point you feel like you can't breath! Since the surgery I too have hit a bit of depression at as if you have this surgery & realistically & logically you know it will be a lot of work & process but there is a part if you that hopes...more than hope; pray this is the solution...then days pass, complications happen. Heck life happens & you feel hopeless...my suggestion is for every negative find a positive, for every punch in gut tell fate it hits like a girl & keep it moving! Keep working the program, call a friend & ask if they want to go for a walk, get out of that house because all you will do is think & worry, & cry... I noticed my depression eased when I got out the house...I went for a walk, I called up some family to just hang out with! Socializing help...if no one is available is there a support group in the area that you can go to? Where are you? Are you in NC...I thought you were close...if so want to meet up for a walk? You have support, you're not a failure, just got to fight a little harder Chica!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
