  1. Lol that's funny only one of my teachers had the rny and the rest weighed around 120 lbs.. kinda depressing huh... good luck on your surgery!
  2. Are you weighing at the same time of day?... your weight fluxuates all the time. G2 hardly has any calories I wouldn't worry about it
  3. "Oh Yeah" bars are awesome and some have 28grams per bar. They taste just like a candy bar. Peanut butter fudge, chocolate coconut and more... my nut analyzed them and they are all good protein
  4. All I've had are watery BM's ... but protein shakes seem to make them particularly bad
  5. Drink a protein shake before preparing their dinner. If your not hungry it won't bother you near as much.
  6. I'm 11 days post op and down 11.5 pounds.... slower than I expected but still good! HW 270 before preop diet 243 DOS 224 CW 212.5
  7. I'm 11 Days out and found a few things I like now. About a teaspoon of refried beans mixed with a tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt and a little pureed salsa for flavor then warmed for about 30 seconds... it's amazing. And 1tablespoon malt-o-meal original mixed with 1/3 cup 1% milk and 1 packet of splenda cooked for about 2 minutes. .. also amazing and should be runny..... I'm still baffled at how quickly I gef full now
  8. Keep sipping water... it will unstick after a while
  9. Lol... thanks for the laugh... that's awesome!
  10. Mine was right under 40 too.... and lots of people said the same. But that's after preop diet. Now i'm 30 lbs down and the same people comment on how much better I look.... amazing how their opinions change
  11. Think we're all getting the same question. People are a holes
  12. Almost all doctors tip the bed
  13. I haven't been tolerating protein shakes or yogurt very well so I decided to try something different. I made one egg soft scrambled and added a little mild salsa juice for flavor. I was very mushy and I chewed it to death. It went down well without pain... hopefully it stays down!
  14. My energy if fine for about half a day then I need a nap. My doctor told me to try to get fluids and protein in as much as possible but not to push it right now since we're just getting into this. I will start counting at 4 weeks.
  15. I can take larger sips as well as long as it's not around the time that I eat
