  1. You cannot crush delayed release wellbutrin... you have to get a different prescription and take it 3 times a day of non delayed release
  2. I'm right with ya except I'm on strict sugar free clears. I went from pureed to only ice chips now to this. I sure am thankful my body has en ough fat to live off of, and they've been keeping an eye on my heart. This stricture stuff is no joke. I hope they have yours all figured out.
  3. My doc said with a normal stricture they usually only have to stretch you 1 or 2 times. It's not really uncomfortable except to the gas when you first wake up, and it only lasts a few minutes. I have a really bad stricture, it was completely closed. Today they decided against the stent. The doctor on call said he spoke to my doc and he wants to do it himself next week.... well good luck with your stricture. Everything will be just fine

  5. I am 4 weeks out a d started having severe nausea and trouble eating or drinking anything 15 days out from surgery. I waited a week before calling my doctor because I didn't want to be whiney. He chewed me out for waiting so long and did an EGD the next day. Turns out I had a stricture that was so tight he couldn't see an opening. He streched it out but was only able to get it a little smaller than a straw. He also found an ulcer right where my stricture is and is affraid to rupture it. He did another EGD 4 days later and couldn't get it any bigger because it started bleeding. Today I got so sick after having only a 1/4 cup of ice chips and have been dry heaving all day. They admitted me to the hospital to hydrate me. They suspect that my esophagus is completely closed again and plan to try and put a stent in it tomorrow. I'm hoping if all goes well to go home afterwards, but I'm not sure if that'll happen. I was told I will have to be on nexium powder for a long tims after this.
  6. I've been admitted to the hospital for a stricture. I've already had it dialated twice this week and it keeps closing off. So tomorrow they are going to attempt to put in an esophageal stent. Has anyone has one? If so how uncomfortable is it?
  7. Well about fed up with this stricture. It has closed off yet again, so they admitted me to the hospital today. Tomorrow they're going to try and put a stent in my esophagus to hold it open. I'm hoping this is the answer. Happy 4th of July everyone!
  8. Call your doctor!. .. I learned the hard way

  10. He said it will take multiple times.... but it's okay just glad my doc listens to me .... after reading other people's forum's some doctors make them wait six weeks after getting a stricture before they do anything about it
  11. Maybe mix it eith a half teaspoon of suga r free pudding instead
  12. On Wednesday I'll be 4 weeks post op. I had foot surgery two weeks after my bypass and had been doing well with it and walking well. Everything was going good with my bypass until I got a stricture 2 1/2 weeks out and had it dialated friday. Then yesterday i went to the gym, had a good workout. When I got home and got out the car I fell and damaged my foot bad enough to need 6-12 more weeks off from work. And I have to say I have never been as fatigued as I am now on crutches. I have been on them before with no problem and I was much heavier than I am now. I don't want to leave the house at all... it has to be from the surgeries. Tomorrow I get to go get my esophagus dialated again.... I think I need to start this week over!
