  1. Well, this ER dr thinks it may be a marginal ulcer. Possible. He is going to have me drink some things and see if it helps. He doesn't think stricture because its so soon.
  2. I'm actually sitting in the ER as I type because I'm having all of your same issues. Can't even sip water without pain. 15ml hydro condone isn't helping the pain, nor is nausea medicine helping at all. ER doesn't think I'm a priority. Nice huh?
  3. The smell of yummy food is killing me. But that's it
  4. I found them through my massage therapist. Go to the website www.itworks.com- you can find a rep and become a loyal customer to make things cheaper!
  5. Everyone realizes that it's going to be different from one trainer to another right? I personally think a mix of both is the perfect plan.
  6. I'm considering doing them once a month or something while i loose weight hoping to keep from being so flabby. Anyone done these? What is your experience?
  7. At 2 weeks out I'll be allowed 2-4 tablespoons at each meal. Mine does say 3 times a day, with my protein shakes. But I can have sugar free snacks that won't fill my pouch. Aka ice pops, etc. but remember- you're meal can take you two hours to finish if you have too.
  8. OMG! That's crazy!!! Mine was 2-4 ounces per "meal" eating at 15 min. Intervals. My protein is only 50grams a day. And 64 ounces of fluids.
  9. Remember to chew to apple sauce consistency. Everything you eat. And take the smallest bites possible. I'm not as far as you, but so far I've learned I sip too much. And I eat to much soup if its in front of me. I measure out 3 tablespoons and that's all I get. Day by day is this process.
  10. Thanks for the replys. Turns out it isn't thrush. But the liquid loritab! If i don't take a few doses to taste goes away. Went all day with no meds yesterday and today had some pain took a little and the taste is back! Ugh. But med free will be very soon!
  11. Anyone having issues like this? My insurance nurse said it could be rush? If I am saying that right. But my tongue isn't white really. I just have this nasty taste in my mouth I can't explain. Anyone?
  12. Surgery day June 12. Learning how to be creative on my full liquids phase. But must note to self how terrible I feel eating to much.
  13. Live this!!!! I had my first today too, and holy lord it was terrible but I'm so happy and relieved! Good job!!
  14. OMG in ripping my glue from surgery laughing so hard at this!!!! I was a super gassy person before surgery. And the one reason I married my husband was because after our first date my stomach hurt and he said, "you've got to fart. Just let it out." By date 3 he was pushing my belly making me fart constantly. And he was oh so loving about it. "Good job!! That was better than mine!" Farts are funny. Not as funny as a 7 yr old boy thinks -but still. I am 5 days post op so I'm sure things will change...but right now I'm praying to god to just let my gas pass!!!
  15. Country girl, every doctor says something different. Every dr does different things even with this surgery.
  16. Now- popcorn hurts my pre op tummy, I wonder what it'll be like 10 months after surgery.......?
  17. A very good friend of mine is 18 months post op and she eats popcorn as her night time snack. Light salt no butter. She loves it!
  18. I'm ending day 4 of 14 optifast diet. Today was the hardest. Arguments with family members made be realize in an emotional eater. All I want is to chew something that isn't a crappy chocolate diet bar. But support groups helped me steer clear of Burger King and what could have been a total disaster.
  19. So glad my surgery center has private wings and rooms for bariatric surgery. I got a tour of the hospital when my surgery was scheduled. I even have a bed for my family member to stay with me the entire hospital duration. So sorry you all had terrible hospital experiences.
