  1. These are all very normal feelings. the surgery is the easy part .... its after the surgery when it all begins. it sounds like you are prepared. trust me while there are some challenges ahead keep your eye on your goal. this is what will motivate you to suceed. All of here will be glad to offer advice and help. alot of us are up late and rise early. ANY!!! questions ask..
  2. I wouldnt put a firm timeline on the surgery date it could only lead to frustration. i was to have my surgery in late January but due to additional testing and getting to the appointments i didnt have my surgery until June 2013 While it took 9 months since the approval it was time well spent. i was able to adopt a menu that was and is healthy and start an exercise program that worked for me at the time. as Mel pointed out it will happen DO NOT loose hope. those people you want to amaze are not the ones you need to amaze...its you. you are doing for you and only you.
  3. Aeswtloss, welcome to the group. you could not have found a better group of people to get skinny with :-) if you have any questions please ask! all of us here have been through some major life changing events in the past year and i can only speak for myself. but the best decision i have ever made....last year i could not walk 50 yards....today did a brisk 5 mile hike....life gets better and better....welcome!!!

  11. Ladies & Gentlemen ...... A short note on this milestone day.....I'm now down 200 lbs. I should get to goal weight by August or September if I stay on this course. Yea me!!! I know we can all get to where we need to be. I'm so proud of all of you. I can honestly say that this group is a big part of the reason I am able to reach this milestone weight loss number. My sincere thanks for all of your support. Well so much for keeping this short :-) RJ

  16. Graceann. first off congratulations on the transformation you look amazing. secondly listen to everyones advice, stay on target keep mixing it up with your protien and water numbers. more is not necessarly better. you need to keep your body guessing so hit the numbers set by your nut and what i do is keep the other numbers inconsistant. but always more exercise good and is the major key to the loss. hope to see less of you next time you post :-) RJ
  17. Congratulations. a wonderful milestone im so very happy for you :-)
  18. Reconizing the problem and addressing it is a sign you will be ok :-)

  24. on mine that means its in sleep mode. Sync it it put on a full charge that will reset it. Let me know how you like it. Send me your fit bit account and we can be fitbit buddies :-)
  25. Mel. The fit bit i have is the fit nit flex. Its gives ne all the data i need and is light and my choice cost 99.00 at target The other one i looked at was the newer one the the fitbit force it give you a tad more data...flights of steps & it acts as a watch. It costs 129.00 the only reason i did not spring for the extra 30 was 1. i already wear a watch everyday 2. i do not feel stairs are a big factor in my daily routine 3.you can read outactial data on the force. The flex are progressove light the mre lights the closer you are to your daily goal. I find this works better for me. 3. they recently had a recall because apparently the force has trace elements of nickle in the band and some people are alergic to nickle. But 1 & 2 were the main reasons. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want to talk email me and ill send you my cp no. walkingman180@gmail.com RJ
