I'm in Gastonia NC - where are you at?

I never got a binder but one of the nurses suggested if I wanted some extra "pressure" support whatever you want to call it, that the firm up panties (I have no idea what they're called lol) were really good. I haven't needed anything though. I've had very minimal soreness :-)

Isn't it amazing! Same here- I'm still on clear liquids (although I did scramble a plain egg yesterday to try to get the pipes moving) but I had a friend have the surgery done at the same surgical center (different dr) and they started her on soft foods 2 days after surgery!!

Lol!! Oh yeah the puppies are wanting to snuggle cuddle :-) love these 2 pups!!! My heavier dog actually feels good butted up against my belly. The pressure feels good.

I've got one- think I'm gonna go pull it out.

I'm still having some gas issues- the gas ex and walking are helping but not totally. Hot showers seem to help a lot though. I took 4 showers yesterday when I got home from the hospital. While I'm glad for the relief- my water bill won't be such a relief! Lol! Any other ideas to ease the gas?

Love being home! I feel pretty great! I had a rough time right after surgery- kept throwing up- but since there was nothing to throw up it was dry heaves/convulsions. Several IV's of Zofran, nausea patch and everything they could give me- the nausea finally subsided! They kept me one night extra in the hospital but I was released today! I've managed to walk off most of the has pains and the gas ex strips that you let melt on your tongue have been awesome! My incisions are starting to itch but other than that I feel awesome!! I've been drinking (sipping) on my isopure and water and was completely full after eating 1/4 of a slice of cheese!

I got to take my first shower this morning! And it made me feel 97% better!!! :-)

I've had a hard time peeing too! But when I do pee, boy does it flow!!! Lol sorry for TMI :-)

All in all surgery this morning went great! I've been battling with really bad nausea and have been dry heaving so now I'm extra super sore. The gas is the worst part though. I walk in my room as much as possible - they don't want me walking because of the dry heaves every time stand up :-( have only had to take pain meds once though :-) I get to go home tomorrow afternoon :-)

Ditto! (Well except for the kids part since I don't have any lol) have to get up at 4 leave by 5 to be at hospital by 6 in the morning. Sx at 8:30!!

OMG!!! One more wake up!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself!!! Lol!!! Hurry up and be tomorrow!!!!

Had my pre-op today! Lost 13 pounds so far on my liquid diet! No bowl prep :-D thank God!!! Just have to wash with the "special" soap :-) surgery is scheduled for 8:30 am Friday!!
