  1. I haven't tried any milk yet, I've been a little scared. But I'm four months out now, so maybe I will try some. What are most of you using, real milk, rice, soy or something else? Would love some feedback. I make my shakes with Water and haven't done fruit in them either, and I'm getting bored with the plain ole shakes.
  2. I love it! I don't know if I could sit still for long periods of time! I'm sure it's relaxing.
  3. Well, I am trying to kick myself in gear to get ready for my first day of school! We(teachers) go back on Friday. The kids will be back on the 26th. I am excited but I know this will be a tough year again with all the budget cuts. So, I'm going to take one last mini vacay this week, to visit my parents. My mom just retired and she's moving to NC from Maryland. My dad retired last year and they will be living in the same county for the first time in almost twenty years. It's going to be interesting!
  4. BTW, has anyone heard from Wendilou? Did I miss something?
  5. Slow cooker ribs, mashed red potatoes(spoonful) and a couple of string beans. Tried to eat mostly the ribs though! LOL!
  6. I hate you have to deal with that. It reminds me of something my daughter and close friends have said since the surgery: I am bolder and speak up for myself now, never before. I was always in the corner never wanting to be in the forefront or part of any controversy. I didn't want anyone to say anything about my weight. I was so self conscious of it, I let stuff slide by without defending them because I feared a comment or jab about my weight. My new confidence and learning who I am becoming continues to surprise me even more, and I think that it may happen to you and others. Don't let them get you down, you're an amazing woman and all of us are here for you. ????
  7. Steak bowl from Chipotle, black beans, lettuce, cheese, steak and pico.
  8. That's great! Along with these new bodies comes a certain confidence. You go girl!
  9. Hope it was fun,Dori! Did she recognize you?
  10. I know how you feel. We talked about it earlier in some posts. I was a 44DDD and now I am wearing a 40D. It is a huge change especially trying on clothes and I don't fill the tops out like before, no cleavage. Everything has to be pushed up and out! But, it's a problem I am happy to have because the surgery was the best thing I've ever done for me!
  11. We're having tax free in NC as well. As a teacher, I take advantage to get some supplies for my classroom. I also try to get my parents to buy things for the classroom as well. This will be the first time I actually buy some clothes for me! I can't wear anything that I've worn the past 10+ years. Yayyyyyy!
  12. Nice! Hope you had a great night!
  13. Happy Birthday, Alaina! I hope it is a fun and amazing one!
  14. You look amazing!! Way to go!
  15. I was going to mention that too! Like Alaina, I am hoping this storm will be as calm and soothing as you are to all of us. Hope all is going well.
  16. That's great, I'm still waiting to get to onederland! Hopefully soon. Congrats!
  17. Chili I made, not Wendy"s! LOL!
  18. So glad you are safe. I know it was scary. Please take care of yourself!
