  1. Just had my surgery on the 25th of Feb haven't thrown up once...gassy yes nausea no....I went against medical advice n went to work Monday(1 wk after) I do home-care n take care of a woman with CP so I think u should be OK good luck
  2. Its good not in much pain at all I'm just bored with the diet already LOL Im at the point if I never had another cream soup it would still be to soon lol

  8. I know for me personally(I just had surgery 2/25) the first few days was the worse with farting but that's because the give u high doses of regalin to get ur GI track moving now its just occasional gas but I burp alot
  9. OK well I'm soon two weeks post open so ill be starting phase two I'm bored to death with cream soups pudding and yogurt I need help the entire baby food meat n veggies scare me I can do fruit but other then that I'm scared please help

Penny the soreness doesn't last long I had surgery last Monday n I'm already back at work(which I don't recommended) but I barely have pain now....keep walking it truly does help the worse part is the air bubble feeling but keep walking oh n first time u toot is AMAZING!!!!! Sorry just being honest it relieves a lot of pressure but good luck!!!

  13. Just had surgery a little over a wk ago everything went great I went back to work Monday hitting fluid n protein goals pretty well... I'm worried now about pregnancy....I already have two n wanna get skinny so my question is how soon till I can begin birth control n what's the best form?
  14. I just had my surgery 2/25/13 I'm already back to work I was uncomfortable the first day or so but after that it was manageable I went back Monday witch was exactly a wk but everyone is different and it depends on pain tolerance

Find a Dr that supports u I just had my surgery last Monday....its a very long process but well worth it...from what I'm finding requirements differ by state innsurance and surgeon but as far as my own experience I was required to complete a 6 month monitored diet, complete blood work lose 10% of my body weight cardiac stress test pulmonary function test sleep study and attend a support group....but like I said that was m experience urs may be different but hope that helps some
  16. I am a little over a wk post op... I too am handling stuff well without pain my dietitian said as long as u sip n not gulp drink till ur hearts content congrats
