  1. 4 chick fil a nuggets...yep I did. I'm not proud.
  2. Roasted turkey lunch meat and fat free cheese....lazy blah dinner.
  3. I spoke with my doc. He said it isn't uncommon to strain the area on the left side if you aren't careful. I was 2 and a half weeks out and decided my dumb ass needed to rake leaves. I had been feeling zero pain before that....now I'm paying or it. The doctor didn't seem concerned about it when we went over the symptoms on the phone. He did say I shouldn't lift etc...until it resolves which could be a couple of weeks. Let me know how your Dr's visit comes out.
  4. Tofu and mushroom stir fry and 1/2 cup of seafood soup
  5. Oh no! I wonder if I did something similar. I bent over Sunday and felt a huge ouch in left side. Since then I have damn near unbearable left side pain near incision. I was going to call the surgeon tomorrow. It's 3 hours away and I'd like to avoid that drive if possible. I'm worried its a hernia or something. I sure hope you feel better soon.
  6. I figured out how to add people....so I think I've added everyone on this thread.
  7. I have no idea how to add people to my fitness pal. My name on there is halfthaisherry if anyone wants to add me.
  8. If you aren't getting your protein and water in your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every calorie you take in very fiercely. That's why it's common to stall when not eating enough. Keep trying and give your body a chance to catch up. Have you tried mixing protein powder in with sugar free pudding mix? That's the easiest way for me to get mine in if I'm behind on protein for the day. Also walk, walk, walk...I notice I tend to not lose as much if I miss my walking. It could be a hormonal monthly thing also. Keep hanging in there. Don't let it get you down
  9. 1 ounce of chicken fajita meat....1/4th cup of fat free refried beans and a 1/4th of an avocado. I love that I can eat so little and be perfectly ok with it. I wish I had done this years ago.
  10. Ok, so I've even doing so so great and yesterday I thought I'd help my husband rake the yard. I did it for like 30 minutes then ouch ouch ouch! I got this left side pain which has been gone since 4 days post op (surgery was on 3/12/13). Now it's all sore feeling like it was before. I'm an idiot and I really hope I didn't jack up something important. So far everything seems to be working properly...it just stinking hurts
  11. I've started taking really really long walks with my 2 asshole dogs. I was feeling bored and missing work, so I decided since I can't eat and watch TV I might as well get out. We hike around the lake, a river, anywhere that's pretty. I'm always amazed at how much better I feel when I force myself outside.
  12. Tonight was blah...I just had vanilla protein mousse. I hiked and felt too tired to chew much less cook when I got home. Ha! That's some serious lazy. I'll be back to experimenting with healthy recipes tomorrow evening.
  13. http://livelifeactive.com/2012/04/25/mini-chicken-parm-bites/ I made these mini chicken parm bites. I could only eat one, but the family loved them. It's good if you're craving pizza. All low fat and no carbs. I put fresh basil and fresh chives on top of mine.
  14. It pretty much tastes like whatever you're cooking it with. The texture is a cross between eggs and firm cheese. I get the extra firm, but they have soft also. I like it ok, but get tired of it so I only eat it a couple times a week.
