When do you start your pre-op diet? Mine starts April 30'th on my birthday! It consists of 1 Protein shake for Breakfast & lunch. And a lean cuisine dinner for dinner. liquids day before surgery. Yours? Surgery date: May 14, 2013

Such a beautiful present to myself.Yaaay, congrats!!!!!!I was told they do not want you drinking caffeine. Some patients are tested by their surgeons to make sure they haven't had caffeine. Some people quit right before surgery and have a hard time with the withdrawals after surgery. I was told no caffeine for a few months after surgery.I know huh! Huge headaches as I was decreasing the caffeine. But now I'm just having slight headaches during the day. I should get my surgery date next week and I didn't want to deal with this and the pre op diet. Lol
