  4. Anna I have tri care, ill look into that. If my doc refers me to see a counselor then im sure they will pay. I know its emotional eating....I do it when im stressed or when my hubby leaves- he is Airforce. But I stepped up and worked out today. ..it felt good but then I ate icecream and a brownie afterwards. I have had no luck finding support groups but ill keep looking. Thanks!

  6. Its normal to feel that way...for now continue to get in fluids and try meal replacement drinks so you csn get the nutrients you need. Savor this because i miss it lol. Im hungry all the time now, or At least my mind is telling me I am smh
  7. Songza is great! It creates playlists based on your mood and the day and time
  8. I had my rny in August 201 I need encouragement now. I was 265, and I went down to 152lbs (july 12). N ow, as of jan 30th I am at 160lbs...I binge on crap I kno im not supposed to eat because I have no self control, afterwards I feel bad. I want to work out but I have no motivation. ...I just need encouragement pands support. .. its hard as you get further post op because the hunger comes back and you find that you can get away with eating the regular foods. I don't ever want to be 265 again. But I feel like my mind is not strong enough to resist my temptations for junk food and ill never get motivated to eat right and exercise. ...I want to badly.
  9. I had mine aug 2011....I understand u completely. We need more encouragement sometimes
  10. Im almost a yr and a half post op and I still get nauseous. Go buy papaya enzyme and take a couple... they are chewable. AMAZING! I USUALLY have some in the morning and after I eat. Lifesavers!
  11. It is true about age and your starting weight and how much you lose. My arms are my worst enemy right now! I hate them! Ive had stretch marks all my life but there are more since ive had surgery. My stomach has a microbit of excess skin but that's from my baby pouch I believe. But my main problem now is flabbiness...ick
  12. I lost weight rapidly the first seven months, then I stalled...now at a yr and a half I gained 10...I need to lose 20 to reach my goal weight of 140, I don't want to be a stick figure, at 118 id look like I was a stick figure
  13. Every one is different...i guess it depends on your self control. Yes I hated food at first and I completely avoided junk food...but family started to say I was getting too small and it madee eat more and eventually id taste a piece of donut here and there and now recently ive bern binging on junk. I feel helpless I habe np self control and I have gained ten lbs. Im trying to practice self control and get to my goal weight of 140. So you just stay away from old habits and stay in control. However, my doc said that research does suggest that rny patients do gain 10-20 lbs back eventually. I don't ever want to be big again either.
