  4. That's the only mirror I have that I can take a full body shot.. I'm only 5ft so.. Yeah I was thinking about me falling in the tub too! Lol

  6. The day of surgery 1/08/13 my bmi was 39.. I weight 234.. I'm 5ft 2in.. My weight 6 weeks later is 209.. My surgeon want me to get down to 130lbs. I haven't been that weight since I was 14 and I'm now 40. But I know I can do it cuz it gets easier as each day goes by! Good luck to everyone on this journey

  9. Thanks! I had my surgery on Jan 8th.. Tues I will be 4 weeks post op! I'm so excited
  10. Omg I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I can't eat hardly anything without feeling like its stuck. Hopefully this gets better
  11. Good luck! I'm 13 days post op, at first I sat in my bed in pain and thought omg what did I do? But after a couple days the pain got better and the journey now seems easier besides not being able to eat the same old foods that got u this way.. But it's oh so worth it! Dos-234 today- 219
  12. It's been 12 days and I'm down 15lbs!
  13. Day 8 and I'm doing amazingly well.. Thanks for all the support and new updates they are so helpful.. I'm still having a very hard time getting my 64oz of fluid a day and definitely having a hard time eating. I'm not hungry and can't seem to make myself eat.. I'm definitely taking all my vitimins. I think I will go to gnc and get some protein shakes maybe this will help out
  14. Had my first dr visit after surgery today.. They removed the tube! Yay what a relief that was.. But the best news is that I'm down 11 lbs! Whoo hoo!!
  15. I had my surgery on the 8th of jan and started bleeding on the 10th and it's pretty heavy. Anyone else experience this?

  17. I'm finally on the losers bench.. Doctors say I may go home today.. I can say this has been an experience that will change my life forever. I now understand what the others are saying about the pain.. Gas pains! Wow! Just glad the hard part is over.. Please continue to pray for a full recovery
