  1. Had surgery on 1/14. On the soft food phase. Surprised how good I feel. Gas is still an issue. After the surgery my back hurt worse than anything. Luckily they warned me about that and that I would come home weighing more than when I went in....I came home 12 pounds heavier! I'm down 7 pounds of that. Haven't been hungry and having a hard time getting enough protein and fluids in. Looking forward to getting onto food I can chew!
  2. I started mine early and was on day 2 when I went in. the nurses were great about it. they let me wear the fabulous hospital panties and pad and a few hours after the surgery they let me get up and put my own back on. they have seen it all! and luckily most of the nurses are girls!!

  4. Oh boy, it has been a long trip and I am now less than 24 hours away from surgery. I started this 5 years ago before getting laid off and losing my insurance mid process. Started again about a year ago. I am 46, mother of 3, grandmother of one and been on a diet since I was 12! I am 5'11" and started at 313. I am at 275 now. I am worried about my downtime, my husband travels and my kids are BUSY!!! He will be home my first week, but then he has to go back to work. How long before you can drive? Thanks for all the information I have read in the last few months!

  7. Hello! I also have been reading posts here for a few months. I am now 12 days from surgery and getting nervous. So, I thought I would jump in and say hey!
