  1. I also take a separate Ca and D3 supplement along with extra B12. (in addition to the 1/day Opurity). Dr. and NUT like this version.
  2. My Dr. and NUT approved me taking Opurity once per day. I got it from the Unjury site.
  3. I am almost 4 months out and down 50lbs. No complications, nor regrets. I will not have to go on diabetes medicine and am almost off high BP medicine. My asthma is so much better. I believe I can keep up with my kids now. I did this for health reasons and should have considered it years ago. I just try to follow the rules of eating and so far, so good. Everyday is a challenge, just go day by day....
  4. I tried a half portion of Panera's Asian Chicken Salad today. I am almost 4 months out and it went fine.
  5. I like the Unjury products. I will put 1 scoop of chocolate, and 1-2 T. powdered peanut butter into 8 oz Original Almond milk....tastes like Reese's peanut butter.
  6. Were you adding your protein powder to milk? I have had to start using almond milk, because I was not feeling well after I used 1% cow's milk.
  7. Way to go Jen!! It is so inspirational to read these posts!!
  8. I am 53 yrs old and had surgery on Oct 24th, 2012. I was supposed to have a vertical sleeve, but the week before surgery, I had an upper endoscopy. They found Barretts esophagus, so I had the RNY procedure. Things are going pretty well. I try to get in 60 gms. of protein per day and 48 oz of water. I am down 20 lbs. and exercising 30 min per day.....whew!
