  1. Im almost 4 yrs out. I eat everything except pasta... makes me dump. I eat about a 1 - 1 1/2 cups of food at a time. I never feel the need to eat, never have hunger pains. I can eat whenever i want and i can drink something the same time i eat unlike right after surgery when it was either drink something or eat something. I do a lot of greek salads, oatmeal, chicken, mashed pot, fruits and veggies (except cucumbers bc i had one get stuck and it was horrible)
  2. Wow. Our stories are almost identicle. Ive had a herniated disc since 1995. Back pain was horrible. They cant operate on me. I had RNY in 2009... best decison ive ever made. I started at 350... im at 178-80 now and have been there for the last 2.5 years. Its like night and day.
  3. I plan on never going back. Ive maintained my weight for 2+ years ( w/ weekly excercise of course). Its so much easier to excercise at 170lbs than it is at 330lbs! Best of luck to everyone
  4. Whats the most most amount of skin you would allow yourself to have before you had a tummy tuck or panni? Would you rather use a wrap or would you want to go ahead and get that extra skin gone and be done with it? I have extra skin but friends and family say its fine and not to bother with it. I tried the wraps... i find them very unconfortable. I like to go shirtless in the summer but the same time am not too crazy about all the jiggly. Any men have a breast reduction??
  5. Hello fellow members: Anyone have trouble with kidney stones post op? I produce Calcium oxalate stones. At one point I was passing one a month. Ive since gone down to one every 6-8 weeks. Anyone else the same problem? Ive seen numerous specialist, tried a bunch of treatments with no help. The common theme was drink more Water... as most of us know is very difficult at 3-4 months post-op. Some of my treatments include Potassium Citrate, diruetics, mass doses of calcium and of course lots of water. The majority are small stones... 5-8 mm but they still hurt like a b****. Ive had larger ones. I passes 4-5 stones in the years prior to surgery, immediately after surgery i started passing every month. I was warned that that may be the case but chose GBP anyway and would still chose it if given the choice today. Anyone in the same boat as me?? I have a YouTube vid of my journey if anyones interested. Look thru my profile. Santino P

  14. I have the same problem. I passed 4-5 stones prior to surgery. 6 months post-op I was passing one a month and have been doing so for about 2.5+ years. Try and drink water. My stones are calcium oxalate. Lots of water and pain meds. No NSAIDS.
