I'm pretty sure o have a stricture. I can keep nothing down but Water. What's an EGD like? Do they put you to sleep? I'm scared of having one. I'm afraid of what's gonna happen to me just living on water. Lisa :-) surgery date: Dec. 4th, 2012

This started last night and it's a burning and pressure sensation where my throat meets my chest. It kept me up all night last night. When I tried to eat today I threw up shortly afterwards and continued to do that for 5 hours. Now when I take a drink of Water the heartburn comes back immediately. Has anyone experienced this?
