  1. It is great that you made the switch from mashed pots to mashed cauli :-) that is a great step towards better health and limiting starches. I believe the every now and then starch is ok if you're a potato lover, but if you can live w/o them in your life then yippee. I honestly can't remember when I last bought potatoes. Also could use some nice cheese, FF sour cream or whatever you use to flavor your mashed pots w the cauliflower. Gen :-) 12/15/12

  4. Going back to work after so much time off w the surgery is difficult and draining. Definitely will need more rest than usual the first week or two after you go back to work. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  5. My nut said more carbs, such as natural Carbs; fruits, veggies should help with providing energy. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  6. Why must a person be tried so much, not given a break. Over the last 2 years anything that could happen, I would say it pretty much has. 3 months ago I had to have my best friend put down. This morning I wake up to his great great grandson being hit by a car. He was my baby. A great big cuddle bug and loved by many. Now this week I will be bringing him home in a beautiful little wooden box. I have 4 of his little babies here with me going on 8 weeks old, tomorrow. Oh god I loved Poseidon. When is all the sorrow going to end?? I think I'm doomed or trying to figure out why I must be tried over and over again. Why me? Why my daughter?? Hating this thing called life!!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12
  7. Oh, sorry to hear that. I hope it didn't take to much to time before you had relief. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  8. I don't know, I've told Dr that I take 10,000mcg Gen :-) 12/15/12
  9. I had that same ? :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12
  10. Wow. This is all horrible. I hope you now can get the help you were supposed to have been given in the first place. I think that is the complaint: the hospital and staff were negligent in performing their duties. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  11. I feel the same way most of the time. I can't even tell you how much I've lost now, but before I went in for surgery I had lost 33 @ 7wks. But being on IVs it gave me a weight boost of 12 lbs. I work out daily at the gym for an hour or two. Get more than enough protein in. My Nut said I needed to up my carbs (natural carbs) by eating more fruit n veggies. Also to break my last stall, I ate more calories. Eating more cals isn't exactly easy being I don't feel I could possibly eat more than I already am but the stall broke. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  12. Walmart. I guess all of us are definitely different. I'm able to down pills w/o a problem. I take 2-4 pills at a time. I still use a chewable for a multi for now. But I really don't care for a chewable. Before surgery I could take all pills and supplements at 1 time. It stunned my family. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  13. A burger does sound very good. But yeah, I think I'd do away with bread all together. It scares me, lol. Glad you're feeling better. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  14. I use centrum calcium and D petites. They are close to half the size of the regular centrum. I've never crushed. Well did once and it came back up. Gen :-) 12/15/12
