Hello I am 9 days post op and in need of a good scale .. I'm trying to decide if I should get a digital or a dial scale ? I always wondered if the digitals were that accurate ? Anybody have any ideas for me on what product I should get ? Thanks for your input ..

I just got banded on the 25th and per my dr we can have sugar free jello and sugar free pudding ! Inculding the sugar free pudding popsicles..

I had my surgery in Mexico on the 25th of Sept .. I am now 4 days post op and feeling better- -- I believe I probably could have gotten by at work if need be but am very happy for the extra days -- For me anything before 4 days would have been too much -

Liz1531 , Thanks for the info ! Since you live there u may be able to help me out .. I was really looking for a hotel on the Ocean ! I keep coming across the Marina and have booked at Marriott Marina but I am still searching for an Ocean front hotel w/in the same price range but I dont even know where to look for Ocean front --- ??? What am I doing wrong ? I keep finding Marina front or whatever -- Help -- :bounce: Thanks

Hello Bandsters -- I am going to Tijuana to get banded Sept 25th by Dr Gonzalez... I will be going to San Diego for 2 nites post op -- Does anybody have any suggestions on where to stay ?? I got a good price at the Marriott Marina but have been reading mixed reviews -- Also, I was wondering if anybody could give me insight on what to expect after surgery -- Will I be able to at least go to the zoo or Sea World - Am I expecting too much to be up to that ?? Also, should I assume I wont be able to go in the pool due to incisions ?? Thanks for any info you could provide -- !!

Thanks Christine and MyLap-band for the feed back on Dr Gonzalez !! I am soo excited to get this done, I have to wait til the end of September because that's where my work schedule will allow it ... It seems like its soo far away ! Christine u will definitely have to keep me updated on how ur surgery is going and how your pre-surgery is going too -- I'm interested !! Thanks soo much for responding Christine -- I am also leaning toward Dr Gonzalez, I have received several phone calls from the Dr that's his assistant and he very patiently answered all of my questions. I felt very at ease and comfortable with him. My only problem was I didnt hear much about him on websites or thru word of mouth. I hear about Dr Ortiz all the time. But I appreciated that the Dr himsef took so much of his time for me. My decision is pretty much made up but I was hoping to get more insight. He will be doing the surgery at the plaza agua caliente medical tower .. Have u heard of that hospital ? Thanks again for responding and to all of those who responded to my thread !! U all make this decision so much easier after hearing / reading about you.

Hello, I have been reading thru these posts for about a month now as I was considering the Lap Band -- I have made my decision to do it and have narrowed my surgeon down to either Dr Ortiz or Dr Francisco Gonzalez both out of Tijuana Mexico .. I was wondering, has anybody used Dr Francisco Gonzalez and what can you tell me about him ? I plan on having the surgery end of Sept, and taking a week off of work. My other question was -- I live in Chicago .. Can anybody tell me of a good fill dr here and what his charge is ? Any information anybody could provide would be greatly appreciated !!
