I'm not sure if it gets better BUT after surgery you won't be hungry. I'm 5 days post op and my mother is here cooking and attending to my family. We eat healthy period.... But since I'm on that one week post liquid diet the smells are killing me. I want it all. The shaved ice is awesome because I really don't need to time myself ever 5 mins. This post liquid diet has been a challenge, but when my daughter (the helpful one) decided to break out her Toy R Us Ice Shaving machine she mad her mommy sooooo happy. She added a 1/3 of a packet of crystal light lemon aid flavor. Amazing! I agree with Nicki... The old saying... "we've came a long way baby" should be your motto. Never go back to the before. One think your notice is you won't have that hungry feeling so it does make it a lot harder to binge ... You won't even look at that meal as an option. I can't imagine eating that much now that I've had surgery. Oh I'm so glad you responded to my post thank you. I was wondering what was going on. This period is so abnormal that I was just wondering if I was hemmoraging (sp).
