  1. I'm going to the doctor today and I'm going to ask him...just to see if it's normal to feel weak and things like that...
  2. When I'm about to get my period I get really achy and all shivery... it didn't happen prior to surgery...I was wondering if anyone else has this?
  3. I'm going on my fourth week after surgery and I get sick to my stomach by the sight or even talking about the protein shakes. I see the Dr on April 1st and at that point I should be able to move on to the soft food stage. I'm hoping I will be able to eat protein bars at that point. At what time did anyone try the protein bars?
  4. This protein is the toughest thing to me... Most of the time I'm not even hungry so it's like I'm forcing myself to do eat...and then I feel sick.
  5. So I'm having issues with my protein drinks... Yesterday I tried my chocolate flavored whey drink with PB2 and I got sick...didn't throw up thank goodness, but it knocked me out of commission for the whole day. I was wondering when the time comes has anyone had protein bars instead of the powder...I just can't handle the drinks. They're like torture to me.
  6. Might sound really weird but I would de-seed the spear and then chew on the pickle and spit out the skin and whatever was left....just so I could get the flavor haha

  8. I haven't taken my BP since the 8th and it was high to normal. So idk.
  9. So this may be really random but I'm craving dill pickles haha. I'm in the full liquid stage but u was wondering if anyone has had them when they were in the puree phase
  10. So I tried the water with the protein and I've had 4 ounces without any issues!!! So relieved. Thanks for the tips
  11. Ok so today is day 9 after my surgery and I'm on the full liquid phase. I tried a protien shake with skim milk but couldn't drink more than an ounce of it? Has anyone else had an issue with drinking protien shakes? Should I try mixing it with water instead?
  12. I start on that tomorrow! Just got home from my first post op appt. I've lost 21 pounds since the pre op diet and 10 pounds since surgery (2/28). I'm so excited! I can have sugar free pudding too!!
  13. Where did you find this soup? At Costco or Sams?
  14. I have to take vitamin D, vitamin C, calcium, B12, iron. Does anyone know which vitamins need to be taken together?
  15. Honestly the pain is the worst for the first 2 days and then it gets better with every day. You can't lift over 10 pounds and bending is a big chore; I'm still having trouble with it.
  16. When did you have it done? I had mine on 2/28 and right now its a lot better. Still sucks sitting though
  17. Has anyone found any good websites for puree recipes?!
