  1. They do!! They have sugar free in French vanilla and hazelnut! Lol. I already asked when I was on my pre-op diet cause I was jonesin'!
  2. I agree!! I got decaf coffee and had to have my sugar free French vanilla creamer! Haven't tried it yet since I'm only 2 days post-op, but it is one of my favorite ways to start the day. Or the afternoon, or the evening. Lol.
  3. Ahaha!! I did last night too and I was soo happy I told my bf over the phone. Lol.
  4. Hey all. Home today! Surgery was a success, no complications! I'm in quite a bit of pain so need pain meds.
  5. Thank you!! I will update you all on here as soon as I can! You know I just feel a sense of peace. I thought I would be all nerves this am. Nope. Not yet at least!
  6. Heading to the hospital here in a few minutes! Wish me luck!!
  7. Ohhh thank goodness!!! So glad to hear!!
  8. Yes! I'm not really nervous anymore. It's weird. But I'm sure that'll all change tomorrow am! I will be praying for us tomorrow and for everyone else going thru this as well and I'll update when I can. I go in tomorrow at 10am.
  9. Good luck to you and everyone else this week!! We are all gonna do GREAT!!!
  10. I have issues with panic, anxiety, and depression and I'm praying that this surgery doesn't knock me off my feet in that way because I've been doing so well. Anyways, if anyone has any mental health questions I also work in the field, do I'd be happy to share what I know. It isn't much, but I'd love to help anyway I can.
  11. What happened msix? Just cause it was painful, cause you can't eat the food there? Awe! Praying for you, whatever the reason. I have heard that anesthesia itself causes some depression as it leaves your body. Between that and all the other major changes I would not think that this would be uncommon, but if it continues, I would def call you doc.
  12. How are you feeling today? Looks like you just had surgery yesterday!! Awesome! Anyways, yes. That would work too. I also read somewhere or heard from someone that one of those lap desks with the hard side against her belly helped when she was getting up from a chair or riding in a car if anyone isn't into the whole shapewear thing. Sounds like it would work.
  13. Yes! Dollar General does have some here in my area too. They are around $8. I've been using them under my more form-fitting clothes now for awhile. I was actually pleasantly suprised by the fabric. It's stretchy and tight but not too tight. They are very comfortable and it beats paying $20-$40! But I never thought of using them to help after surgery...Hmm. ")
  14. Yay you! That is awesome! Keep up the good work girlie!
  15. I sure hope so! How far out are you and how much have you lost so far? (If you don't mind me asking!) ")
  16. Thank you! I don't feel like I'm doing particularly great, so some encouragement was nice to hear! Lol. I got down to about 308 before they gave me the date to go on my 2 week liquid diet and then I went on eat-a-palooza and gained about 10 pounds back. It was over Thanksgiving. Lol. They say that's a normal reaction but dammit!
  17. Absolutely Simply Southern!! Please keep your head up girl!! We are all here for you and wishing you well!!
  18. Hey all! I have over 100 to lose too! My highest weight was 331 and I'm 5'5, now down to about 310 with the pre-op dieting. My surgery is on 12-13-12. They estimate my goal around 190, which is less than I ever remember weighing! It's kinda strange to think about! But I know I will be so much healthier and happy!!! Congrats to all of you on your weight loss so far! What an inspiration!!
  19. Thanks for the reassuring thoughts girls!! And guys? Lol. It really is such a flood of emotion. I'm having surgery Thurs and today is my last day at work, Tues and Wed I'm gonna be taking a lot of my things to my Mom's (I live alone, so staying there a few days post op), do all my laundry, get all my pills organized, etc. Hopefully all that will keep me busy! I pray everyday for all of us to have successful outcomes and no problems! So thank you all for your support and prayers!!
  20. So, surgery 12/13 and I am kind of freaking out, but kinda numb. Anyone else feel like this beforehand? Omg.
  21. Simply Southern!! Soo glad to hear you are doing well! Just think, this is tough but it's going to equal a healthier Mommy for your boys! Know we are all praying and pulling for you!!
  22. Praying for all of us with surgery coming up and for everybody post op!! It's so reassuring to hear from the ones who've already been thru it, so keep the updates coming when you can. I'm such a ball if nerves over here I can't concentrate!
