  1. Hey all, Williamsport here! Surgery 12/13/13!! Getting soo excited and nervous!
  2. So excited for you and wishing you the best!! Let us know how you make out when you can!!
  3. Good idea. You know what else? You can always tell the people that want to visit that you aren't really to have visitors other than hubby and immediate family for short periods of time because your surgeon would like you to rest as much as possible. I would say that and then say that you would love if they came to visit you at home a a day or two after surgery when you've had some time to rest. That way you aren't really lying, cause a lot of surgeons, and your nursing team, would definitely suggest that, but they don't in order not to offend anyone, lol. And that way is isn't coming directly from you, so it softens the blow a bit. Just a thought. ")
  4. Yay! We are on the same day! ")
  5. Sorry I posted that about 100 times. My phone had a brain fart I think. Lol.

  10. Hey Msix, I was thinking about the facebook thing... I don't think there is a way for you to make everything private enough on your end, but I think that if people like or join the page, they can make it private on their end. They would just have to fix who can see these posts in the privacy sections to just themselves. I think activity would still show up on their wall when they look at it, but would be invisible to others. Maybe create the page or group and then we can try and help those who want to remain private to fix their feeds. Also, the ones who would like to remain anonymous on fb could always create a "ghost" account and join that way. I had a profile for my cat at one time. Lol. Just some thoughts...And thank you for all the time your spending trying to figure this out! ")
  11. I start mine tomorrow and I am so worried I am going to be miserable and not be able to do it! Nerves already! Your surgery is one day before mine by the way, so hopefully we can connect and chat!
  12. Praying for you! Perfect surgery and fast recovery! Let us know how you make out! ")
  13. I'm a December baby too! My surgery is on the 13th and my birthday is on the 15th. Happy birthday everyone!
  14. Hi, could you add me too? Jodi Welch
  15. Good luck!!! We will be praying everything goes well and let us all know how you make out when you can!
  16. Awwee!! It will get better!! I think this whole process is going to be one big emotional roller coaster! Sometimes you'll have to put your hands over you're eyes and wait out the fear and other times you'll be putting your arms in the air screaming "whhooohooo"! Lol. I'm just praying it's more whhooohooo for me and less eye covering!
  17. Haha! It's soo funny (and reassuring) reading everyone's reactions! I had my last appt before surgery on Tuesdays and no one else understood when I said "I am sh*tting my pants right now!" Lol. I felt so excited and so scared at the same time, which resulted in a doe in the headlights look. I was stunned is all I can say.
  18. Heck yeah!! I'm sooo freaked out and excited!
  19. You and I are on the same day!!
