  1. I woke up from a nap.... I dreamed about food!.. I know I'm not hungry, but why would I dream about it!! Is it because I haven't technically ate since Wednesday afternoon. Am I already having these food issues?... I don't want to start having these emotional panic attacks already. I'm only 3 days Post Op!!! :c
  2. I only stayed a little over 24hrs.
  3. That's the crazy part ..I'm only 3 days post op..I'm having no trouble getting any water down or any liquids! I can drink 3 bottles of water on top of my protein and other flavored beverages... Two of my friends that have had it say I'm a freak of nature..lol
  4. It says it starts working as 30 minutes after drinking. I would hold my breath and drink as much as you can take a drink of water and repeat that process. I would also recommend the lemon or cherry flavors. It can make you gag.. I just take deep breaths and keep drinking water.
  5. That stuff works really well and fast. I would check in early and take it. I would also drink it cold! If you feel like you have to pass gas don't! Go to the restroom!..lol Good Luck!
  6. I started 11/6 and was approved 12/18 after one phyc evaluation and one visit with the dietitian! I had gastric bypass This past Thursday 12/27! It went by so fast!
  7. You look Fabulous!! V
  8. I started my journey 11/6.. I was approved by 12/18. My surgery date was 12/27/12.... For me, it was that fast!
  9. I started my journey 11/6.. I was approved by 12/18. My surgery date was 12/27/12.... For me, it was that fast!
  10. Before I had my surgery 12/27/12, I read how difficult it was to drink liquids...I am having no problems. I drank 3 bottles of water yesterday, on top of 4oz of fatfree beef broth and one protein shake. I'm still reading where people are having issues... Is this normal?
  11. If they give you the information on a liquid diet I would do it. I started my journey 11/6/12 and I was approved and given my surgery date of 12/27/12 by 12/18/12!
  12. Well I guess my pain would ease up... ugh... if I was taking the right dosage!
  13. Just took a shower and about to take my meds, and put a movie on and hopefully get 3hrs of sleep.
  14. Not have my belly rub on my steering wheel. Not living in fear of sitting in a lawn chair. Not tying my shoelace on the side of my shoes and in the center like "normal" people. To bras that come in more colors then white, black, and beige.
  15. I was half knocked out.. when the nutritionist came to see me. My mom said that's what she said, but she could be wrong. I just emailed her so I hope to get some clarification.
  16. Why woul my surgeon say no Jello.. I was really looking forward to it.
  17. Try propping some pillows so your not completely on your back or side. That's what I did
  18. I also just had surgery Thursday... I'm not having problems sleeping on my back, it's the walking and gas that are bothering me! I don't remember reading that I would be in this much pain.
  19. The burping hurts more then passing actual gas. I've had my first bowl movement (TMI) and I'm peeing with no problems at all.. I should be walking more..maybe that will help.
  20. I was given Lortab...it says take every four hours.. I guess I wasn't expecting to be in this much pain.
  21. I never realized or read how hard the first few days were going to be. The gas hurts, it hurts to walk. I can't stand straight up. I'm running a low grade fever, they said to increase my fluids which I have been. I'm not having any trouble getting my protein or clear fluids down. It's just the constant pain in my abdomen! How long does it last?
