Hey everyone, so I had my surgery on Dec 5th. I got to come home today.. Yay!!! Surgery went well. I had no complications. I'm so happy to be home, so that I can heal, and start my life on the other side. i wish all of you well, pre and post op. You can do this!!

Hi Tasha, My Name is Linda I too have a family, 3 boys married 22 yrs. I am always doing for everyone else too. By the way.. our surgeries are on the same day. I want you to think about this this way, if you don't have the surgery, what's it going to be like later in life? Obesity as you know can do soo much damage to your body. I want to be able to live to see my kids grow up and mature, meet my future grand kids, travel,... I think of this surgery as the gift that will keep on giving, not only to you but to your family too. I am sure your husband would agree. I wish you well!

Hey everyone, Hope all is well and your progresses are moving forward. So, today I go see my surgeon for my pre op visit. I get my 1000 cal diet at this time and start it on Monday. I am getting anxious and giddy! I have yet to find a protein drink that I like, they all taste blah and coat my tongue.. weird! Suggestions? I am 41 Start weight in May 288 lbs currently 272 lbs.

I tried Isopure recently, it was nasty! Because it has whey protein it leaves a coating on your tongue. GNC has a Protein Drink, thats tolerable, again it leaves a coating on your tongue, but its not as bad as the Isopure. I'd like to know what is good, for your first couple of weeks. i' ve been looking without any luck. Good luck to you Girl!
